Team news

Daniele Rugani, who joined Fiorentina on loan from Juventus earlier this month, could make his debut for the club on Thursday after making a matchday squad for the first time in Monday's 1-0 victory over Pisa.

Albert Gudmundsson also returned from injury to sit on the bench for that Serie A contest, but Tariq Lamptey (knee) remains sidelined.

Football Odds

Jagiellonia's leading goalscorer, Afimico Pululu, is free to return after serving a suspension last week, while long-serving captain Taras Romanczuk, who accumulated three yellow cards in the league phase, is also available for selection again.

Today's Football Fixtures

Fiorentina vs Jagiellonia Odds

Fiorentina are 1/2 favourites to triumph in regulation time on Thursday, implying a 66.7% probability of success, while Jagiellonia are 9/2, or an 18.2% chance, with the draw offered at 18/5.

Fiorentina vs Jagiellonia Stats

  • Piccoli (FIO) has scored in three of his last five starts
  • Gosens (FIO) has registered two assists in three Uefa Conference League apps this season (four in eight last season)

First Goalscorer - Roberto Piccoli (FIO) @ 7/2

Roberto Piccoli has endured a difficult first season at Fiorentina, scoring just five times in 28 appearances across all competitions.

However, the 25-year-old has notched in three of his last five starts, with his most recent strike coming in last week's first leg in Poland as he rounded off the scoring on the night.

After another brief cameo in Serie A on Monday, I expect to see the Italian restored to La Viola's European XI on Thursday, making him the prime candidate in the First Goalscorer market.

Piccoli opened the scoring in Fiorentina's 2-0 home victory over Sigma Olomouc in the league phase of this competition in November, while he was most recently first on target in his side's 3-1 home defeat to Como in the Coppa Italia on January 27.

Player Assists A Goal - Robin Gosens (FIO) Yes @ 4/1

Robin Gosens registered 10 assists on loan at Fiorentina from Union Berlin last season, including four in eight Conference League appearances.

After signing permanently last summer, the 31-year-old has only provided two assists, as he has largely been restricted to the role of back up, but both have arrived in the Conference League, in just four games.

Gosens played the duration of last week's first leg, and with Fiorentina holding a comfortable lead in this tie, I expect the German to get the nod to start again on Thursday.

I can see Gosens whipping in a dangerous cross for Piccoli to score, which would be very nice indeed for both bets.
