Team News
Wrexham have lost top scorer Kieffer Moore to a tendon injury that is expected to sideline him for the next few weeks. Midfielder George Dobson is the only other major absence. The 28-year-old is suspended.
Swansea have almost a clean bill of health heading into this crunch clash at the Racecourse Ground. Only Adam Idah and Zeidane Inoussa are ruled out at press time.
Wrexham vs Swansea Predicted Lineups
- Wrexham: Okonkwo; Cleworth, Hyam, Doyle; Kabore, Rathbone, O'Brien, Thomason; Windass, Broadhead; Smith
- Swansea City: Vigouroux; Key, Cabango, Burgess, Tymon; Franco, Stamenic, Galbraith; Ronald, Vipotnik, Eom
The visitors are priced at 9/4 to leave with a win. Wrexham are marketed at 5/4 for a victory while the draw is 23/10.
Wrexham vs Swansea Stats
- Wrexham lead the head-to-head stats against Swansea, with 15 wins, nine defeats and seven draws
- Swansea last played a competitive game at the Racecourse Ground almost 20 years ago. The Swans beat Wrexham 2-1 on March 29, 2006 to lift the FAW Premier Cup
Wrexham to win @ 5/4
Derbies are often hard-fought, attritional affairs (unless you’re Tottenham) and I expect that sort of match here. But I do think Wrexham can edge it. The divisive stars of Disney+ are sixth for a reason and I feel like they have that little bit of extra quality.
The form guide is identical; three wins, one draw one loss from each side’s last five league outings. But with home backing and a play-off foothold to protect, I reckon Wrexham take this.

Oliver Rathbone to score anytime @ 11/4
Top scorer Moore’s injury is a blow, but Phil Parkinson’s side boast goals from other areas of the pitch. Take Oliver Rathbone for example. After coming back from injury, the midfielder has bagged seven goals in 20 games for the Red Dragons.
Rathbone often crops up when Wrexham need him most. He scored in the FA Cup upset over Nottingham Forest and saved his side’s blushes against Charlton with a winner at The Valley.
Wrexham’s Championship win rate this season is 30% without Rathbone and 56.25% when he’s playing. That is some serious influence and I think he extends that to another goal on the day.
