Parkinson is adamant he will continue to rotate his Wrexham squad as the games come thick and fast in the hunt for promotion.

The Wrexham boss may well make changes but forward Smith will surely retain his starting spot.

He netted the only goal at Hillsborough last weekend as Wrexham made it four straight away wins. He poked home after good work from Max Cleworth and Issa Kabore just before the hour for his sixth Championship goal of the season.

He had two more good chances afterwards but was denied by Murphy Cooper before steering a header just wide.

Smith made no secret of his frustrations at a lack of starts earlier this season and he has now bagged in four successive Championship starts.
