Team News
The Hornets are without Jeremy Ngakia, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Watford are also missing forward Kwadwo Baah, who has been out since late February with a muscle problem. Rocco Vata will be absent for the remainder of the season with a serious hamstring injury.
Wrexham have hotshot striker Kieffer Moore on the sidelines with a tendon injury. He is joined on the fringes by Liberato Cacace (hamstring), George Dobson (suspension) and Ben Sheaf (knee).
Watford vs Wrexham Predicted Lineups
- Watford: Selvik; Abankwah, Pollock, Mfuni, Bola; Ince, Louza, Mendy, Chakvetadze; Irankunda, Kjerrumgaard
- Wrexham: Okonkwo; Cleworth, Hyam, Doyle; Kabore, Vyner, O'Brien, Thomason; Rathbone, Broadhead; Smith
The Hornets are 5/4 to triumph on home soil. Wrexham are on a solid run, winning four of their last five outings. They are 21/10 to add to that victory tally.
The draw is 9/4. The sides drew 2-2 in the reverse fixture back in December.
Watford vs Wrexham Stats
- Watford manager Edward Still has a perfectly balanced record since taking over in February. He was won two, drawn two and lost two matches
- Wrexham forward Nathan Broadhead has scored three goals in Wrexham’s last five games
Wrexham to win @ 11/5
The Red Dragons are blowing hot right now, winning four of their last five outings as they look to solidify their hold on a play-off spot. Watford are ensconced in 10th but if they win, they go within five points of the Welsh side.
With Southampton breathing down Wrexham’s necks, just three points behind in seventh, now is not the time to blink.
Wrexham’s fine form gives cause for encouragement against a patchy Watford side. The fact Still is the club’s fourth head coach since last season concluded is not a surprise. The stat that Watford have not won consecutive league matches outside of a four-game winning run in December is a surprise.
Wrexham are ruthless. Watford are in flux. The bloom has long come off the rose for the Pozzo reign. Sacking managers like an amped-up Alan Sugar only gets you so far. It doesn’t get you back to the Premier League, not this time.

Nathan Broadhead to score anytime @ 3/1
The formerly-prolific forward started life at Wrexham slowly, only tucking away four goals between August and February. But Broadhead has settled and has three in his last five to show for it.
I think Wrexham’s electric form and Broadhead’s hot streak coinciding is no coincidence. The ex-Ipswich Town man looks comfortable and at ease. This renewed confidence can carry him to a goal, and Wrexham to a win, in Hertfordshire.
