Ilias Chair’s long road back continues and the attacking midfielder is a fitness doubt. Danish midfielder Nicolas Madsen is out with a hamstring problem.

Boro travel to Loftus Road without Alfie Jones following ankle surgery last month. But manager Kim Hellberg can welcome back Leo Castledine, with the forward having come through a full week of training unscathed upon his return from injury.

Boro are strong at the back, with only Ipswich Town and Stoke City having conceded a goal less each at 34 goals. QPR have failed to score for two games on the trot and they have their work cut out trying to do so again.

Boro are in fairly ruthless form, having lost just one league match since New Year’s Day. I predict another victory here.

Riley McGree to score anytime @ 5/2

Boro’s top scorer Morgan Whittaker has not been prolific recently, with the goals needing to be spread across the team. McGree has bagged three in Boro’s last five outings. He is the closest thing Hellberg has to a regular goalscorer at the moment. Against a QPR side I expect to be open, I think the attacking midfielder comes through once more.
