Josh Knight (back), Thomas Waddingham, Harvey Blair, Conor Shaughnessy (all hip), Hayden Matthews (ankle), Josh Murphy and Franco Umeh (both hamstring) are all absent for Portsmouth due to injury.
Milenic Alli bagged his first goal for the club at the weekend and he will be looking to build on that on Tuesday in attack. Ebou Adams, another January addition, has scored in back-to-back games after coming in to bolster Pompey's midfield.
For Ipswich, Conor Townsend (cruciate ligament) and Ashley Young (hip) are sidelined through injury.
The visitors will be hoping that Jaden Philogene and Marcelino Nunez are in a position to return to the squad for Tuesday's clash.
January signing Anis Mehmeti is expected to continue in the number 10 role.

Portsmouth have won three of their last five home games in the Championship and they are 16/5 to defeat Ipswich.
Pompey have drawn two of their previous three fixtures in the second tier and the stalemate may appeal at 12/5, which has an implied probability of 29.4%.
Ipswich have won four of their past six matches in the league and they are 9/10 to come away with the three points.
Jack Clarke bagged his 12th league goal of the season for Ipswich at the weekend and he is 2/1 to strike anytime at Fratton Park.
Portsmouth vs Ipswich Stats
- Portsmouth are unbeaten in 4 league matches
- Pompey are also unbeaten in their last 5 home games in the Championship (W3 D2)
- Portsmouth have struck first in three of their previous 5 home fixtures
Double Chance - Portsmouth or Draw @ 9/10
Portsmouth are a club who have been uplifted in recent months. They are five games unbeaten at Fratton Park in the Championship and they are on a run of four matches without defeat in the second tier coming into this home clash against Ipswich.
John Mousinho's side may be sensing an opportunity for an upset as the promotion-chasing Tractor Boys have failed to win their last two fixtures. They required a late penalty to salvage a point at home to Preston North End last time out. The Lilywhites had not scored for four games before the weekend.
Pompey have taken four points off rivals Southampton and West Brom on home turf in the last two weeks, and after netting three goals against the latter on Saturday, I am expecting a confident mood in PO4 on Tuesday night.
The hosts have now given themselves a four-point cushion above the relegation zone and they will look to extend that by picking up a result against Ipswich. Pompey have been looking good recently and I think they are good value to come away from this match with at least a point.

First Team To Score - Portsmouth @ 8/5
The atmosphere has been improving at Fratton Park given the recent upturn in results and now the fans are starting to believe that they can maintain their Championship status for a third year.
They are feeding off what the players are giving them and vice versa, so it is becoming a very intimidating place for opposition teams to visit. Another market that I think offers good value on Tuesday is for Portsmouth to open the scoring.
This has been the case in three of their last five home appearances in the league and I do see this trend continuing against Ipswich.
Kieran McKenna's side are winless in two matches coming into this contest and they have also conceded the first goal in both of those fixtures.
