Team News
Millwall put in a strong performance in midweek, but ultimately fell to a 2-1 defeat to league leaders Coventry City. Alex Neil will likely name a similar team to the one that turned out at the CBS Arena, led by top scorer Mihailo Ivanovic, who bagged again in the Midlands.
Femi Azeez was a constant threat from the right wing and will play a key role again, while the back four of Tristan Crama, Jake Cooper, Caleb Taylor and Zak Sturge should remain unchanged. Midfielder William Smallbone remains out with a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile Charlton boss Nathan Jones may make a couple of changes after his side lost at home to Derby. Luke Chambers has joined on loan from Liverpool and the left-back could come straight into the team here given the lack of depth in that area for the Addicks.
Matty Godden made his long-awaited return from injury against Derby and is set to feature off the bench again, Charlie Kelman may replace Miles Leaburn up top and Harry Clarke should come into the back three from the off. Harvey Knibbs, Amari’i Bell and Onel Hernandez are all out injured.

Millwall vs Charlton Stats
- Charlton haven't beaten Millwall since 1996
- Millwall have lost one of their last six
- Femi Azeez has 10 goal contributions this season
Millwall to win to nil @ 13/8
Millwall haven’t lost to Charlton since 1996, and their domination in this fixture is quite remarkable. 13 games on the bounce without defeat, and given the state of both teams, I expect that record to continue here.
Millwall sit fifth in the league and are serious promotion contenders - prior to that narrow defeat to Coventry they were unbeaten in five in the league. They’ve got the sixth-best home record in the league having won eight, drawn two and lost four at The Den this term.
Charlton have only won two away games all season, picking up 11 from 14 on the road. I don’t think they will be able to turn around their form - and fancy Millwall to edge the game to nil.

Femi Azeez to score and assist a goal @ 14/1
I've been seriously impressed with Azeez this season and he was the standout player on the pitch at the CBS Arena in midweek. The right winger was a constant threat and provided a wonderful cross for Ivanovic to poke home from close range.
He’s going to be Millwall’s standout player here and his relationship with Ivanovic could drag Millwall all the way to the Premier League. I’m hoping for a big performance from him here, he’s scored seven and got three assists this season - and I like the odds on him to get both a goal and an assist on derby day.
