Barcelona have reached the final of the last five editions of the Uefa Women’s Champions League, winning three of those, and they have reached the quarter-finals for the 11th consecutive time.

Real Madrid will be without long-term absentees Teresa Abelleira and Signe Bruun, but Maelle Lakrar is expected to return to the starting lineup after being rested against Eibar last time out.

Real Madrid’s Caroline Weir has been in fine form this season and if anyone is to find the net for the home team, it could be the Scotland international.

Weir has five goals in eight Women’s Champions League games this season and looks a big price to add to that tally in this quarter-final.
