Leading their old rivals by three points with just three games of the Premiership campaign remaining, Celtic can take a huge step towards the Scottish top-flight crown with victory over Rangers on Saturday (12:30).

The Hoops and the Light Blues have already contested some thrilling games this season and will also face off in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park on June 25th.

However, before cup final fever hits home north of the border, the Premiership title race is the focus on Saturday lunchtime and all eyes will be looking to see how this clash unravels in Glasgow. Below you can find my Celtic vs Rangers Bet Builder Tips.

Celtic to win & both teams to score

When it comes to the recent games between these sides at Parkhead, Celtic have been the dominant force with five wins and a draw against Rangers in their last six meetings.

The pair have already met three times in the Premiership this season and Celtic won the first two encounters before a 3-3 thriller in their last meeting at Ibrox.

Given their impressive home record against the Gers, it’s hard to look past Brendan Rodgers’ side claiming all three points against a Light Blues side who will be left to rue dropped points in April in back-to-back outings at Ross County and Dundee.

Both teams have scored in four of the last five clashes between Celtic and Rangers at Parkhead and that has also been factored into this #PickYourPunt selection.

Over 3.5 goals

Given the 3-3 thriller at Ibrox the last time these long-time city rivals met on April 7th, another high-scoring showdown might well be on the cards on Saturday.

That clash yielded six goals and there should arguably have been even more, with both sides squandering decent scoring opportunities.

Two of the last clashes between these sides at Parkhead featured over 3.5 goals and that trend can continue on Saturday.

James Tavernier to score at any time

Having scored in two of the three Old Firm meetings already this season, Rangers skipper James Tavernier has made a habit of popping up with goals in these titanic tussles.

The Rangers right-back is the club’s leading goalscorer in the Premiership this season with 17 and he will be hoping to try to reach the 20 mark before the campaign is through.

Prolific from the penalty spot and from free-kicks, it would be little surprise to see Tavernier notch on Saturday.

But unfortunately for the 32-year-old defender and his teammates, his predicted goal looks set to feature in a Rangers defeat that would see Celtic all but secure the Scottish crown once again.
