The last of the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals takes place on Saturday night (20:00), as Cape Verde take on South Africa in Yamoussoukro. We've taken a look at this one and given you our best betting predictions.
Cape Verde continue to write off the doubters having reached the last 16 in Cameroon and have gone one stage further so far in the Ivory Coast. Three wins out of four in the competition have underlined just how dangerous a team Bubista has put together, with victories over Ghana, Mozambique and Mauritania already under their belts, as well as a solid draw versus Egypt.
Next up is a South Africa team that continues to grow in stature through the tournament, with Bafana Bafana recovering from an opening loss to Mali, before smashing Namibia and then putting out the tournament favourites, Morocco, in the round of 16.
Both teams look to have no hindering injury issues and should both start with the same XI's as in their round of 16 games.
Vozinha; Moreira, Costa, Lopes, Paulo; Monteiro, Pina, Duarte; Mendes, Bebe, Cabral
Williams; Mudau, Kekana, Mvala, Modiba; Mokoena, Sithole; Morena, Zwane, Tau; Makgopa
This game looks like a pick-em, with all three match results very similarly priced. Cape Verde are the very slight favourites at 13/8, with South Africa and the draw both priced at 7/4.
Again, goals look to be in short shrift, with under 2.5 goals trading at just 4/9.
Match Result - Draw - 7/4
Both the Blue Sharks and Bafana Bafana look high on confidence going into this one and both are capable of scoring. I expect the sides to go full tilt here with a potential semi-final on the line and take lumps out of one another.
I'm taking a score draw and one of the sides to win on penalties...
Percy Tau to score - 3/1
Tau only has one goal at AFCON 2023 but is leading the South African side with shots per game at 2.3 and shots on target with four.
I like his chances of getting on the scoresheet here.
