Stuttgart vs Werder Bremen Prediction: Visitors can win entertaining Bundesliga duel

Two teams in mid-table but still with hope of securing European football this season meet in the Bundesliga on Sunday when Stuttgart host Werder Bremen.
Stuttgart went into the weekend in ninth place, a point and a place ahead of their opponents, but could find themselves being leapfrogged by the in-form visitors, who have won three of their last four league games. Below you can find my Stuttgart vs Werder Bremen predictions.

Team News
Stuttgart are without injured defenders Luca Jaquez, Josha Vagnoman and Dan-Axel Zagadou, while Ameen Al Dakhil is also absent through suspension.
Striker Justin Diehl, meanwhile, has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.
For Werder Bremen, Milos Veljkovic is out, while fellow centre-back Amos Pieper is a major doubt.
Stuttgart vs Werder Bremen Odds
Stuttgart are rated as 4/6 favourites to win on Sunday, an away win is 18/5 and the draw is available at 16/5.
Over 2.5 goals is priced at 4/9, over 3.5 goals is 11/10 and it’s 1/2 for both teams to score at the MHPArena.
Werder Bremen to win and both teams to score @ 11/2
This is a key game for both teams’ European aspirations this season as a win for either would significantly boost their hopes of landing a top-six finish in Germany.
Werder appear to be finishing the season strongly and, after picking up impressive victories recently over champions Bayer Leverkusen, Holstein Kiel and, last week, Eintracht Frankfurt, the visitors look to be good value for another three points on the road on Sunday.
Furthermore, six of Stuttgart's last eight Bundesliga home games have ended with both sides scoring, so goals can probably be expected at both ends again in this clash - just like there was in the earlier meeting in Bremen, which ended 2-2 in November.
Stuttgart won well 4-0 at Bochum last time out but Sebastian Hoeness’ side have lost their last four league games at home and they could be on the end of another defeat when Werder visit.

Romano Schmid to score anytime @ 4/1
Werder attacking midfielder Romano Schmid could be the value pick in the anytime goalscorer market as he looks to inspire his side to an important away success on Sunday.
The Austria international has just four league goals this term but he is currently in a rich vein of form as three of those efforts have come in his last four appearances.
Schmid is on offer at 4/1 to net anytime and he has certainly been heavily involved for Stuttgart in the final third of late.
The 25-year-old has had nine shots in his last four games, with four of those being on target, so another goal should arrive soon if he maintains that attacking approach.
