A thumping 4-0 win over the Japanese whipping boys saw Monterrey edge out River for a last-16 spot, but things have been slightly more comfortable for upcoming opponents Dortmund.

Two wins and a draw eased BVB into the knockout stages, and a clash against Real Madrid or Juventus awaits the winners of this contest, so there is a huge incentive for each of these sides to try to be at their best for this encounter.

Jamie Gittens is again unlikely to feature for Dortmund with a move to Chelsea close to completion.

Gittens was not involved in the recent success over Ulsan, but Julian Brandt could start off the bench once more despite a broken bone in his wrist.
