Benjamin Sesko Transfer Odds: Arsenal frontrunners to sign the Slovenian star

Benjamin Sesko is one of the hottest prospects in Europe right now and it looks increasingly likely that he will depart German side RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window after two years at the club.
The Slovenian international won't be short of suitors but where is he likely to end up? I take a look at some of the potential destinations below using Betfred's Benjamin Sesko Transfer Odds.
Benjamin Sesko Transfer Odds
Arsenal @ 1/7
This surely has to be the summer in which Arsenal finally wake up and address their glaring squad issue and that is the absence of a striker. The Gunners have wasted a few excellent opportunities to end their Premier League title drought by not signing a forward, and now it looks like the club are finally addressing the issue.
Sesko is a player who the north London outfit are actively looking at, but day-by-day their interest flutters between him and Sporting CP's Viktor Gyokeres, who is also set to be on the move this summer.
Manchester United are also looking at the Sweden international, though, who has previously worked with boss Ruben Amorim, which may put Arsenal at a disadvantage.
The Gunners' route for Sesko may be clear though and they would be getting a player five years younger than Gyokeres with a lot more room to develop. Sesko would be a statement of intent for Arsenal and it would be a good move for him given the trajectory the club are on and the fact that he would face little competition for a starting place up front.

Liverpool @ 7/1
Liverpool may be in need of reinforcements in the striker department is Darwin Nunez is to depart Anfield this summer, and potentially Diogo Jota as well. The Reds are holding out for £70m for the Uruguayan but should they get that, or compromise further down the line, Arne Slot will likely look for another forward.
Sesko fits the criteria with his age, quality and the attributes that would see him fit in well to their attack, but unless anything significant happens with Nunez, it is hard to see such a move materialising.
Chelsea @ 12/1
We can't seem to have a transfer rumour anymore in which Chelsea aren't a part of it. Their appearance in these markets are like when Alan Curbishley used to appear in seemingly every next manager odds list that became available.
The free-spending Blues have already been splashing the cash this summer and knowing their habits from the past few years, it's unlikely to stop there. They are very much that greedy child in the sweet shop that is inevitably going to spoil their dinner.
With the recent acquisition of Liam Delap, a move for Sesko wouldn't make sense, especially while Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku are still on the books - although the latter could depart Stamford Bridge this window.
PSG @ 14/1
PSG are arguably the best team in the world right now following their first-ever Uefa Champions League title but it is more about the way they play rather than their accomplishments. Unlike a few years ago, the French giants are becoming a far more attractive option to players, especially with Luis Enrique at the helm.
Sesko would not look out of place among PSG's exciting attacking lineup and a such a signing would fire a warning to the rest of Europe that Les Parisiens are planning on dominating the continent.
Barcelona @ 16/1
Hansi Flick has just guided Barcelona to a domestic treble and they also reached the Champions League semi-finals. This competition is likely to be their focus next term and Barca will likely look to bolster their ranks to match some of their European rivals' strength in depth.
Sesko's age makes him such an attractive option at centre-forward because while Robert Lewandowski is still doing his bit for the Spanish giants, he's 36 and there's no guarantee on how many years in the tank he has left at this level.
Sesko would be a long-term investment and his trajectory is sure to match the one Barcelona are on under the stewardship of Flick.
