Team News

Belgium captain Kevin De Bruyne is the headline absentee for the hosts but he is not the only one, with Jeremy Doku, Charles De Ketelaere, Youri Tielemans, Thomas Meunier and Malick Fofana also missing out.

Romeo Lavia and Maxim De Cuyper are also injury doubts, but in some positive news, Romelu Lukaku returns to the fold.

Riccardo Calafiori and Samuele Ricci will miss out for Italy, who bring in Manuel Locatelli instead. Gianluca Scamacca and Giorgio Scalvini remain long-term absentees.

Italy can be backed at 7/4 for the victory, while Belgium are 8/5 and the draw is available at 23/10.

Over 2.5 goals is on offer at 10/11, while both teams to score is priced at 4/6 and it is 7/4 for over 1.5 goals in the first half.

Italy to win @ 13/8

Italy need just a point from their final two Nations League games to confirm their spot in the quarter-finals after accumulating 10 points from a possible 12 in the group to date.

The Azzurri looked on course for a comfortable success when 2-0 up against these opponents last month, but after Lorenzo Pellegrini was sent off, the Red Devils came back to draw 2-2.

However, this will be a different Belgium team to the one that Domenico Todesco fielded that day, with a spate of injuries giving the home side the feel of a squad that has been somewhat cobbled together.

Belgium have failed to beat Italy in a competitive match since 1972 and that wait may go on, as they face a visiting side that are progressing impressively under manager Luciano Spalletti.

Take the Azzurri to win this one.

Mateo Retegui anytime goalscorer @ 21/10

There cannot be many more in-form goalscorers in world football than Italy’s Mateo Retegui, who has been red hot for Atalanta this season.

The forward has 11 goals in just 12 Serie A matches and he netted twice in the October international break, once against these opponents and once in the win over Israel.

Against what may be a makeshift Belgium backline, take Retegui to get on the scoresheet once more.
