Arsenal vs West Ham Prediction: Gunners to hammer home title credentials

Arsenal will get the chance to put pressure on Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday when they entertain West Ham at the Emirates Stadium (KO 15:00).
The Gunners have a game in hand over the Reds and they are eight points behind them in the race for the title. Arne Slot's men are not in action until Sunday against reigning champions Manchester City, so Saturday's fixture against the struggling Hammers gives Arsenal the chance to cut the gap, albeit temporarily.
Arsenal beat Leicester 2-0 last weekend, while West Ham fell to a 1-0 defeat to Brentford. Below you can find my Arsenal vs West Ham predictions.
Arsenal vs West Ham Betting Tips
Team News
Arsenal full-back Takehiro Tomiyasu recently joined Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus on the season-ending injury list, while Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli remain sidelined until after the March international break.
Mikel Merino scored twice to help Arsenal beat Leicester and may get the nod up front, with Raheem Sterling failing to impress in that role against the Foxes.
West Ham boss Graham Potter is without Niclas Fullkrug, Michail Antonio, Crysencio Summerville, Vladimir Coufal and Lucas Paqueta, with the latter suffering an ankle injury in training this week.
Both James Ward-Prowse and Evan Ferguson are pushing for starts at the Emirates.
Arsenal are as short as 1/4 to win on Saturday, with the draw 5/1 and West Ham considered 12/1 outsiders.
Over 2.5 goals is priced at 4/6, while both teams to score offers a bit more value at 5/4.
Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard is the favourite to score at any time at 7/5, closely followed by team-mate Ethan Nwaneri at 6/4.
Arsenal to win to nil @ 5/6
Arsenal have the second-best home record in the Premier League behind Liverpool, having gained 28 points from their 12 league games at the Emirates. The Gunners have yet to lose at home in the league and that should give them plenty of confidence, especially given West Ham’s struggles.
The Hammers have only won three of their 12 away games, scoring a meagre 13 goals across those matches.
Potter has been unable to work with a full complement of forwards since he took over at the club, and Arsenal should be able to collect another clean sheet if they can silence Jarrod Bowen.

Team With Most Booking Points - West Ham @ 9/10
West Ham's best chance of success will be to try and stop Arsenal's rhythm and unsettle them in possession.
They have conceded a whopping 11 goals against Arsenal in the last two meetings between the clubs and collected four yellow cards in each of those encounters.
With Arsenal set to dominate possession and attack from the off, it is likely that West Ham will pick up several cards to try and slow Arteta's troops down.
