Arsenal welcome Fulham to the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday (19:45) in the Premier League. The Gunners are 12 points behind leaders Liverpool with nine games left to play and while they're not officially out of the title race yet, it's very unlikely that they will overcome that deficit.

The best they can hope for is Liverpool to drop points while they continue winning matches, but it remains a big ask. Fulham make the short trip to north London following their FA Cup quarter-final heartbreak against Crystal Palace on Saturday. Read on for my Arsenal vs Fulham predictions, accompanied by the latest team news and match odds.

Team News

Arsenal are preparing themselves for the imminent return of star winger Bukayo Saka following three months out with a hamstring injury. The England international has returned to training and boss Mikel Arteta has revealed that he is very close to making his comeback - which could come against the Cottagers on Tuesday.

Any game time is likely to come from the bench, so expect Ethan Nwaneri to start on the right flank, while Arteta must choose between Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli on the left. Trossard has been utilised down the middle in the past but that role is currently held by Mikel Merino.

Kai Havertz (hamstring), Gabriel Jesus and Takehiro Tomiyasu (both knee) remain long-term absentees for the Gunners. Riccardo Calafiori is out with a knee issue of his own and he is not expected back until some point in mid-April.

Jurrien Timber will need to be assessed ahead of the game because he missed international duty with the Netherlands due to illness.

Arsenal vs Fulham Stats

  • Arsenal have lost just one PL home game in 2024/25
  • Over 2.5 goals has struck in six of Fulham's last seven away trips

After missing out on a trip to Wembley for the FA Cup semi-finals, Fulham will look for an immediate response at Arsenal, and Marco Silva could make some changes from the side that were comfortably beaten by Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Raul Jimenez may come back in to lead the line at the expense of Rodrigo Muniz, while Adama Traore will be pushing to return to the right wing, which would likely see former Arsenal man Willian drop down to the bench.

Alex Iwobi, another ex-Gunner, is set to maintain his place on the left side of the attack. The Cottagers are without the services of Harry Wilson (foot), Reiss Nelson (thigh) and Kenny Tete (knee) due to injury.

Arsenal have the chance to be reunited with a number of familiar faces as Emile Smith Rowe will be itching to start against his old side at the Emirates.

Arsenal vs Fulham Odds

Arsenal have won four of their past six home games in the league, and they are 2/5 to come out on top on Tuesday.

Two of the hosts' previous three outings in the Premier League ended in a stalemate, which was also the outcome when they faced Fulham at Craven Cottage back in December. The draw is marketed at 16/5, which has an implied probability of 23.8%.

The Cottagers are 7/1 to come away with the victory, which they have managed in each of their last three away trips in the Premier League.

Fulham forward Jimenez has 10 goals in the league so far, with one coming against the Gunners back in December. He is 18/5 to strike anytime on Tuesday.

Arsenal and both teams to score @ 13/5

This season has been an infuriating one for Arsenal. The one year that Manchester City lose concentration and they can't capitalise. Injuries have hampered them massively this term but that is a knock-on effect from the club underspending compared to their rivals. When you compare the quality in depth between Arsenal and their closest rivals, they are so far behind.

It has been known for a long time that the Gunners were in desperate need of a centre-forward and failing to secure one looks to have cost them dearly this campaign. Havertz works hard as the front man but his injury, along with Saka's has underpinned just how short Arsenal are in attacking areas.

That being said, Arteta and his players have still done well to keep themselves as close to the summit as possible, but this has also been helped by the inconsistency of other teams.

With over two weeks' rest ahead of their game with Fulham, the hosts will be raring to go for the final phase of the season. They have lost only once at the Emirates in the top flight in 2024/25, so Fulham have a tough task ahead of them.

Energy levels could be low in the away camp following their FA Cup clash on Saturday, and this might play into Arsenal's hands, so I'm backing them to take the three points.

I've added both teams to score to the selection because this has been a successful bet in each of Fulham's past three away fixtures in the league.

Sasa Lukic to receive a card @ 6/5

When it comes to yellow cards, no player in the Premier League has collected more than Fulham's Sasa Lukic (10) this term. The midfielder is always right in the thick of the action when his team are out of possession, and more often than not it leads to him getting into trouble with the officials.

The Serbian has committed 49 fouls this campaign in 22 appearances, meaning he is averaging 2.2 per game. For that reason, I think he is a shrewd selection to go into the book on Tuesday evening.
