Arsenal vs Brentford Prediction: Bees can capitalise against Euro-focused Gunners

Arsenal are still basking in the glory of their superb Champions League victory over Real Madrid but they are back on domestic duty when they host Brentford in the Premier League at home on Saturday evening (17:30, Sky Sports Main Event).
The Gunners will hope to reduce leaders Liverpool’s lead at the top to eight points with a win, before the Reds host West Ham on Sunday, while Brentford are battling for a top-half finish in the weeks that remain of the season. Below you can find my Arsenal vs Brentford predictions.

Team News
Bukayo Saka and free-kick king Declan Rice are among the players who could be rested by the hosts, while Ben White and Leandro Trossard - who did not start against Madrid expected to be recalled.
Kieran Tierney is also in line for a rare appearance in the Gunners line-up but Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, Riccardo Calafiori, Gabriel and Takehiro Tomiyasu are all still on the sidelines.
Brentford still have plenty of injury problems as well with Fabio Carvalho, Joshua Dasilva, Igor Thiago, Aaron Hickey and Gustavo Nunes all still out.
Rico Henry returned to the matchday squad last time out against Chelsea but did not feature so he will hope for at least some minutes for the visitors.
Arsenal are the 4/6 favourites to win at the Emirates, the draw is available at 3/1 and a Brentford victory is 9/2.
Over 2.5 goals priced at 4/5, while both teams to score is 4/5.
Draw or Brentford @ 6/5
The Bees might just be facing second-placed Arsenal at the right time as this Saturday tea-time clash comes in between their huge last-eight tie in the Champions League against Real Madrid.
The stunning 3-0 success over Los Blancos is bound to have sapped the energy levels and with Arteta tipped to ring the changes ahead of the second leg in Spain on Wednesday, a draw or away win appeals at 6/5.
Brentford have aspirations to finish in the top half in the Premier League - Thomas Frank’s side could yet catch the likes of Bournemouth and Brighton just above them - and they can build on the goalless draw secured against Chelsea last weekend by avoiding defeat again.
Frank’s men have also impressed on the road in 2025, winning five of their six away games this year, so they should approach the trip to the Emirates with plenty of confidence.

Yoane Wissa to score anytime @ 11/4
With doubts over who will start for the home side, it might be better to select a goalscorer for the visitors and, at 11/4, Yoane Wissa stands out in the anytime scorer market.
Wissa has 14 league goals this season in what has been an outstanding personal campaign for the DR Congo forward.
The 28-year-old has hit three goals in his last six appearances for the Bees and he can cause an Arsenal defence that could be much-changed plenty of problems on the break.
