Nigeria vs Tunisia Prediction: Osimhen set to star

After both winning their opening games, a place in the knockout stages is up for grabs for both Nigeria and Tunisia on Saturday (20:00 GMT, Channel 4Seven).
They are certainly two of the big dogs of Afcon, with both of them harbouring ambitions of going all the way - so this is arguably the biggest game of the group stage so far. Below you can find my Nigeria vs Tunisia predictions as we search for a winner.

Team News
Eric Chelle's Nigeria got a win in the opening game, and as a result, he could stick with the same XI in this one, featuring several big names. Victor Osimhen started, but it was Ademola Lookman who scored the winner from the number 10 position.
Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi and Samuel Chukwueze started in midfield, with Iwobi bagging two assists. Akor Adams and Moses Simon will compete for a place alongside Osimhen in the front two.
Elias Achouri scored twice for Tunisia, and the right winger will look to star again. Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Ellyes Skhiri had the fewest number of touches against Uganda but managed to score, while Sheffield Wednesday’s Yan Valery should feature at right-back.

Nigeria vs Tunisia Stats
- Nigeria got 11 points and topped their group in qualifying
- Nigeria sit three places above Tunisia in the world rankings
- Both teams won their opening matches
Nigeria to win @ 11/8
I really like this Nigeria outfit, and I think they could go deep into this competition. Osimhen is yet to strike in this competition, but I think he will get going in this one. They got 11 points and topped their group in qualifying, while Tunisia came second behind Comoros, so I think they should have the edge on them.
They are three places above Tunisia in the world rankings, and I just feel they will have the edge on the oppositio,n given their attacking prowess and the fact that they looked good in their opening 2-1 win over Tanzania.

Victor Osimhen to score at anytime @ 8/5
One of the best strikers in the world, I’m backing Osimhen to have a big tournament. He’s now at Galatasaray, and has scored 12 goals in 16 this season including six in four Champions League outings.
Nigeria needs their main man to produce the goods if they are going to go all the way. I think this is a decent price on him to score at anytime.
