Algeria to beat Equatorial Guinea
Algeria have breezed through their first two group games, beating Sudan 3-0 in their opener before securing a 1-0 victory over Burkina Faso in the second.
As they look to wrap up a perfect group campaign, they face an Equatorial Guinea side who have lost both of their games and look set for another defeat.
The National Thunder lost in heartbreaking fashion in their opener, conceding twice in injury time to fall to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Burkina Faso before they were edged 1-0 by Sudan in their second game.
Those results may well have knocked the stuffing out of this team and they are facing an Algeria team unbeaten in their last 18 games inside 90 minutes.
Burkina Faso to beat Sudan
Burkina Faso have won six of their last eight games and should be able to extend that run against a Sudan side who have lost nine of their last 14 matches.
The Falcons of Jediane secured a scrappy 1-0 win over Equatorial Guinea last time out but they look unlikely to repeat the trick against a Burkina Faso side with genuine quality such as Edmond Tapsoba, Dango Ouattara and Bertrand Traore.
Ivory Coast to win to nil vs Gabon
Ivory Coast and Cameroon are locked on four points at the top of Group F after the pair shared the spoils last time out.
Now the Elephants will be looking to secure top spot with a win over Gabon, who have lost both of their games thus far and on the verge of elimination.
Only one of Ivory Coast’s last 14 games have seen both teams score and that run looks set to continue against a poor Gabon side who may struggle to lay a glove on these opponents.
Cameroon to win to nil vs Mozambique
Cameroon should be able to wrap up a top-two spot in Group F with a win over Mozambique, who have lost three of their last five games.
The Mambas won their first ever Africa Cup of Nations game last time out but look unlikely to follow that up, as they have lost the last seven head-to-heads between this pair.
Cameroon’s last four wins have been accompanied by a clean sheet and this should be another shutout success.
