AFC Bournemouth (H) to beat Tottenham (19:30 BST) @ 6/5
Bournemouth’s winless run in the Premier League now stands at 11, but there were plenty of positives to take from Saturday’s 3-2 loss at home to leaders Arsenal, suggesting that they may be able to stop the rot against Tottenham.
The Cherries, for all their recent struggles, have lost only two of their 10 home league games this season, and they were 1-0 victors away at Spurs earlier in the campaign.
It is likely this will be Antoine Semenyo’s final game in a Bournemouth shirt, and he will be keen to impress against a laboured Tottenham, who remain weakened by injuries and have won only one of their last seven away games.
Brentford (H) to beat Sunderland (19:30 BST) @ 5/6
It’s seventh meets eighth in the Premier League as surprise packages Brentford and Sunderland do battle at the Gtech Community Stadium, and home advantage could be crucial for the Bees.
Brentford have collected 10 points from their last four games following Sunday’s 4-2 victory at Everton, and they have been formidable at home, where their only defeat in 10 came at the hands of title-chasing Manchester City.
Sunderland tend to save their best performances for the Stadium of Light - 20 of their 30 points have come at home - and they are winless in five on the road.
Manchester United (A) to beat Burnley (20:15 GMT) @ 7/10
The start of a new era begins for Manchester United following Monday’s sacking of Ruben Amorim, and interim manager Darren Fletcher should guide the Red Devils to maximum points at Burnley.
Amorim's last two games in charge were a pair of 1-1 draws with Wolves and Leeds, but he has been dealing with a depleted squad, and yet they have lost only two of their last 14 matches.
Burnley are in the midst of an injury crisis, not helped by players being away on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations, and they are at growing risk of relegation, having picked up only two points from their last 11 league outings.
Newcastle United (H) to beat Leeds United (20:15 GMT) @ 8/11
Leeds head to Newcastle on the upward curve, but their seven-match unbeaten run could come to an end under the lights at St James’ Park.
Daniel Farke’s side have won only one of their 10 away league games this season, with their sole road success coming at rock-bottom Wolves, and the Magpies are extremely stubborn opponents on their own patch.
Eddie Howe’s men eased past visiting Crystal Palace 2-0 at St James’ Park on Sunday, which stretched their unbeaten run at home to 11, and nine of those fixtures have resulted in victory.
