Paul Robinson is predicting a 2-2 draw in the Premier League match of the weekend between one of his former clubs Spurs, and visitors Liverpool.

The Spurs and Leeds legend, who was also an England ‘keeper, was speaking on Betfred TV’s Football Show to our own Mark Pearson.

He praised the resilience of the “new” Tottenham … a quality he credits boss Ange Postecoglou installing into the club once referred to as ‘Spursy’ due to their inconsistency.

Robinson reckons the 58-year-old Greek-born, Australian-raised boss has transformed the team – and talks “a lot of sense” at press conferences.

“We have got our Tottenham back … they are a decent watch,” smiled Robinson. And he said that England midfield playmaker James Maddison looks a perfect fit, although could he be out with a knee injury for the Saturday teatime visit of Liverpool .

Regarding Klopp’s side he said they had recruited well – and if they “shore up defensively” they will be capable of challenging Manchester City for the Premier League title.
