Wednesday Greyhound Tips: A Diamond shines for Michael in Romford

Our expert greyhound guru, Michael Smyth (@bettingjungle on X), returns with three tantalising Wednesday Greyhound Tips.

Today's three selections all come from the card at Romford, which you can read all about below...

1 pt 18:53 Romford – Jeopardy Venus (T4) @ SP

Three from the London Road circuit Romford this evening on an ultra-competitive all-graded card. At 18:53 in the A10 graded race over the four-bend 400 metre trip, look out for JEOPARDY VENUS from T4. The Paul Young-trained railer has run in higher grades in recent months and even won in A8 and A9 company during April. Following six defeats on the bounce, the Racing Manger has eased the September 2022 daughter of Burgess Bucks, and she now finds herself back in A10 company for the first time since September 2025.

The key to victory this evening will be the break, trap well, lead round and its race on. Saltees Suzi (T1) and Cosmic Blue (T2) will both be looking to turn handy, and they can battle it out to chase the selection home and fill the forecast spot.

1 pt 19:44 Romford – Bubbly Fury (T1) @ SP

The A6 graded race at 19:44 looks competitive but, based on a plot draw on the rails, preference is for the Paul Young-trained railer BUBBLY FURY from T1. Fury is two from five in the grade but hasn’t run in this class since October 2025. In recent months the October 2022 son of Droopys Jet has run well and won in A5 and A4 company. Tonight, if Fury brings his trapping boots and leads round, he can land a knockout blow and take this race.

Lightly raced December 2024 pup Lansdowne Vinny is worth noting in the market from T2. The Dave Mullins-trained youngster is open to improvement and could prove to be above this A6 grade in time. Tip Top Dance (T5) makes her competitive Romford debut this evening following a move from Dunstall Park. She would be a huge runner with a ping break.

1 pt 20:54 Romford – Coolanga Diamond (T1) @ SP

The third and final selection from Romford this evening is COOLANGE DIAMOND who runs from T1 in the A12 graded race at 20:54. The race looks wide-open with plenty in with live claims. Following four course and distance trials, Coolanga Diamond makes her competitive debut this evening, and she looks well-drawn to hold the rails and lead round. The September 2023 daughter of Airmount Nando isn’t a youngster.

She’s clearly had issues along the way, but hopefully, this evening, with a smart exit from the boxes, she can make all and reward the patience of her connections. Clovass Spice (T5) looks likely to challenge into the first bend and could be a runner on the bunny. Rising Chimes (T6) has a near thirty percent strike rate in the grade and is another with live claims.
