USA:
The co-hosts got off to the perfect start with their opening game, smashing four past a hapless Paraguay side, as Mauricio Pochettino's side sparked World Cup fever across the nation.
Following that magnificent result, the Stars and Stripes are expected to name an unchanged starting XI, although there are concerns regarding Christian Pulisic, who picked up a knock and had to be substituted at half time in the opening win. Pochettino is confident that he will be fit to play though.
Borussia Monchengladbach's Giovanni Reyna, who scored the fourth goal on Saturday, is in line to replace Pulisic should he not recover in time.
Australia:
Australia had their own superb start to their World Cup campaign, pulling off a shock 2-0 win over well fancied Turkey. Socceroos boss Tony Popovic is unlikely to change a winning side that performed so well.
Australia's star man in that opening victory was Melbourne City stopper Patrick Beach who pulled off eight saves against the Turkish and should keep his place over Levante's Matt Ryan.

USA vs Australia Key Players:
Folarin Balagun (USA)Â
24-year-old Balagun exploded onto the World Cup stage in Los Angeles, smashing in two goals in the 31st and 50th minutes to become just the second American to score more than one goal in a World Cup match.
The Monaco frontman started his career as an Arsenal academy product but only played twice for the Gunners. Loan moves to Middlesbrough and (more successfully ) Reims followed and secured him a reported €40 million move to the French Riviera.
Expect Balagun to keep on scoring at this home World Cup and continue to become a megastar for the United States.
Nestory Irankunda (Australia)
Irankunda was expected to be a super sub in this tournament but a starring role when starting against the Crescent Stars saw him open the scoring and you get the feeling he won't be leaving the starting line up anytime soon.
The 20-year-old winger plays in the Championship for Watford and his pace and direct running are a real threat for the Socceroos. Friday evening's game will be a much tougher prospect for Australia but it should be a challenge that Irankunda should relish.
