Switzerland vs Bosnia-Herzegovina Prediction: Value lies in the drawing streak continuing in Group B

It's all square in Group B at the FIFA World Cup after both the two opening fixtures finished level. Thursday sees Switzerland take on Bosnia-Herzegovina at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles (12pm local/8pm BST, ITV1).
The Swiss were made to pay for not taking their chances against Qatar, while Bosnia defended brilliantly to deny co-hosts Canada a victory on home turf. My Switzerland vs Bosnia-Herzegovina predictions can be found below, alongside the latest team news and match odds.

Team News
Manuel Akanji, Nico Elvedi, Granit Xhaka and Breel Embolo are the core group of players in Switzerland's squad and all should start again.
Given the Nati only managed one goal against Qatar last time out, Murat Yakin may consider adding some more firepower in the final third, which could see Noah Okafor promoted from the bench.
The Swiss have no injuries to report after matchday one.
Sead Kolasinac turned in a great defensive display for Bosnia against Canada but it came at a price as the defender limped off the pitch late on. He may be a doubt for Thursday's contest.
Nidal Celik picked up an injury in training that looked to end any hope of him featuring in the tournament, so he was replaced by Arjan Malic. Veteran striker Edin Dzeko might have to settle for a place on the bench again.
Switzerland vs Bosnia-Herzegovina Predicted Lineups
- Switzerland: Kobel; Zakaria, Elvedi, Akanji, Rodriguez; Aebischer, Xhaka, Freuler; Ndoye, Embolo, Manzambi
- Bosnia-Herzegovina: Vasilj; Dedic, Katic, Muharemovic, Kolasinac; Bajraktarevic, Tahirovic, Basic, Alajbegovic; Demirovic, Lukic
Switzerland vs Bosnia-Herzegovina Odds
Switzerland have won four of their past seven competitive fixtures and they're 8/15 to come out on top on Thursday.
Bosnia won the only previous encounter which was a friendly in 2016 and they're a 11/2 bet to collect the three points.
The draw can be backed at 3/1.
Embolo scored from the penalty spot against Qatar and he's 6/5 to find the net in the Sub Switch market.

Switzerland vs Bosnia-Herzegovina Stats
- Bosnia have drawn their past 6 games
- 4 of Switzerland's last 6 fixtures have ended level, including their previous 2
- Both teams have scored in 9 of Bosnia's last 10 outings
Match Result - Draw @ 3/1
After both sides picked up draws in their opening matches, there's some added pressure on this tussle in California and three points may all-but secure a place in the knockout stage.
I had Switzerland winning this group comfortably before the tournament began but after they failed to beat Qatar, I worry I've overestimated them. They struggled to break a dogged defence down, and they're about to face another one in Bosnia.
The Dragons fought hard to keep Canada at bay for most of their first game but they lacked quality in the final third. Everything seems to point towards another draw here, and at 3/1 (implied probability of 25%), I think it offers excellent value to punters.

Both Teams To Score - Yes @ 6/5
Another market that's a good price is Both Teams To Score - Yes. I think this is worth backing because even though both these sides struggled in the final third in their first fixtures, they both possess players capable of being effective in front of goal.
This market has been a successful bet in nine of Bosnia's last 10 outings in all competitions, including their previous two. For the Swiss, there have been goals at both ends in each of their past three matches.

Switzerland vs Bosnia-Herzegovina Score Prediction
- Switzerland 1-1 Bosnia-Herzegovina
I see another 1-1 contest on the horizon in Group B. This is a cocktail of Bosnia being strong defensively but looking short of ideas going forward against Canada.
Switzerland also struggled against Qatar's compact defence and they look set for an even tougher time of it against the Dragons' back line.
