Double Chance - Draw or Newcastle
Just hear me out on this. Newcastle may have just won four of their 18 away games this term in the top flight, but they are in a decent run of form and I think they can pose problems Fulham.
Yes, the Cottagers have seen 10 of their 14 victories come on home turf but they are winless in three, with two of those matches being defeats. I'm also not ignoring the face that Fulham have failed to score in four of their previous six outings in the league.
I think a draw seems the most likely result here, but a part of me does believe Newcastle can sneak away with three points to end the season on a high.
Both Teams To Score - Yes
I know what I just said about Fulham's lack of goals in recent weeks, but I think both teams will score in this contest. I'm not overly impressed by either defence and I think two sets of attackers could be in for some joy on Sunday.
This has been a winning selection in four of Newcastle's past five games in the Premier League, as well as the reverse fixture at St. James' Park back in October. There were also goals at both ends in Fulham's latest match against Wolves.
Fulham vs Newcastle Stats
- Newcastle are unbeaten in 3 games (W2 D1)
- Fulham are winless in 3 matches (D1 L2)
- BTTS - Yes has landed in 4 of Newcastle's past 5 league fixtures
- Sasa Lukic has been booked in 2 of his last 3 appearances for Fulham
Sasa Lukic to be carded
I think there is also value to be had in backing Fulham midfielder Sasa Lukic to get booked on Sunday. The Serbian is the Cottagers' biggest offender this campaign with nine yellow cards in the top flight. Two of them have come in his previous three appearances, so I believe there's a good chance he can get into more trouble this weekend.
Will Osula 1+ shots on target
Newcastle striker Will Osula is having a strong end to the season which will give him a strong case to be their main man up front in 2026/27. The young Dane has scored six of his seven league goals across his last seven outings, including a brace last time out against West Ham United.
I'm backing him to have at least one shot on target against Fulham.
