Hull vs Middlesbrough Bet Builder Tips: McBurnie to put Boro to the test in 3/1 punt

The Championship play-offs feel like they have been dragging on for months because of 'Spygate', but we now have our confirmed final. Hull City will face Middlesbrough at Wembley for a prize of promotion to the Premier League and £200m (3:30pm, Sky Sports Main Event).
This is the richest game of football and both sides are hoping to return to the top flight after a decade away. Below I provide my Hull vs Middlesbrough Bet Builder Tips, which combine for a 3/1 bet.

Double Chance - Hull or Draw
During the entire fiasco of 'Spygate', I don't think any club has been let down more than Hull. The Tigers reached the final on merit and first they were preparing for a game against Southampton, and now they have had just a few days to change their plans for Boro.
Kim Hellberg's side have known all along they would be facing Hull if they were to take the sneaky Saints' place in the showpiece, giving them an unfair advantage in my view.
I've spent much of the season expecting Hull's flame to extinguish because the underlying data didn't support them being a play-off side. Now here I am rooting for them because of the actions of another club.
Boro may possess the better squad on paper but in the semi-finals, the team I was most impressed by was Hull. Sergej Jakirovic's side executed their Millwall plan to perfection. The players were all outstanding in that second leg at The Den.
I believe if they play like that against Boro, who looked pretty toothless in attack, I think at the very least the Tigers can take this final to extra-time.
Both Teams To Score - Yes
I think covering Both Teams To Score - Yes is a smart play on Saturday because it has struck in five of Hull's last seven matches. Over the course of the season, including the play-offs, 63% (30/48) of the Tigers' fixtures have produced goals at both ends.
For Middlesbrough, this has been a successful bet in six of their past nine competitive fixtures, while also landing in one of the two previous meetings with Hull this term.
Hull vs Middlesbrough Stats
- Hull have lost just 1 of their last 6 matches (W2 D3)
- BTTS - Yes has landed in 5 of the Tigers' past 7 fixtures
- Oli McBurnie had 3 shots in his last game against Millwall
Oli McBurnie 2+ shots
Oli McBurnie is probably feeling pretty aggrieved that he wasn't selected to represent Scotland at the World Cup this summer. The Hull striker was the joint-second top scorer in the Championship this campaign with 17 goals.
He is going to be the figure the Tigers turn to for inspiration on Saturday and I think he can lead from the front again. McBurnie was very busy in the semi-final second leg against Millwall, registering three shots at goal, with two hitting the target.
At 4/9, I think he offers good value to have at least two efforts against Middlesbrough at Wembley.
