RR vs LSG Prediction: Lucknow star Marsh can extend hot streak

Rajasthan Royals face Lucknow Super Giants in Tuesday's IPL fixture at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur (starts 3pm).

The Royals have lost their first three home matches at the venue and they are in danger of missing out on the play-offs.

Lucknow cannot make the top four, but Rishabh Pant's men have restored some pride with their impressive recent wins over Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings.

The Royals welcomed back captain Riyan Parag on Sunday after a hamstring injury and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja should return for Tuesday's game, while South Africa paceman Nandre Burger is likely to replace New Zealand quick Adam Milne.

Lucknow Super Giants have no fresh injury concerns so Australia's Josh Inglis should keep his place at the top of the order.

It has been a difficult IPL campaign for Lucknow Super Giants, who are bottom of the table with two matches remaining.

However, they have won two of their last three games, thanks largely to the efforts of opener Mitchell Marsh, who looks a worthy favourite to top-score against Rajasthan Royals.

Australia's T20 captain smashed 111 against defending champions RCB and 90 off just 38 balls against Chennai on Friday.

Marsh came into the tournament after a couple of brutal half-centuries against Sri Lanka and Oman at the end of Australia's T20 World Cup campaign.

And he has soared up the IPL runscoring chart in recent weeks, reaching 40 in six of his last eight innings for LSG.

One of those knocks was Marsh's 55 out of a total of just 119 in last month's home defeat to Rajasthan and he should be backed to lead the charge for Lucknow in the return fixture.

Lucknow Super Giants to hit most match sixes @ 5/4

Rajasthan's bowlers were punished by the first three visitors to Jaipur this season and Lucknow look a good bet to hit the most sixes on Tuesday.

The Royals conceded scores of 229-5 against Sunrisers Hyderabad, 226-3 against Delhi Capitals and 229-4 against Gujarat Titans in their last three home defeats.

Lucknow opener Marsh has struck 68 sixes in 25 IPL innings since the start of last season, but he is not the only big-hitting threat in the Super Giants' squad.

His fellow Australia international Josh Inglis cleared the ropes six times in a recent knock of 85 in Chennai, while Nicholas Pooran was the leading six-hitter in the 2025 tournament.
