I think this final will be one-way traffic and I fancy City to win their first title since 2023. The Citizens have suffered defeats in the last two editions against bitter rivals Manchester United and Crystal Palace.

With this looking like the only piece of silverware they can win, Pep Guardiola and his players are expected to be pumped up for this clash. This game will have extra meaning for veteran Bernardo Silva as this is his last final for City and he will want to bring the curtain down on his nine years in sky blue on a high.

I think that there is a huge gulf in class between the two teams and I believe this will be reflected out on the pitch. I am backing Man City to score at least three goals, which they have managed in four of their last seven competitive fixtures, including against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.

Guardiola's side have scored three goals in as many fixtures heading into Saturday, too.

Additionally, Chelsea have conceded three goals in five of their previous nine matches in all competitions.

Man City to keep a clean sheet

The second leg of my Bet Builder has Man City keeping a clean sheet. Chelsea's struggles in both boxes have been well-documented in recent months. The Blues have blanked in six of their 10 most recent outings in all competitions, including their home Premier League clash against City on 12 April.

Man City have also shown been showing off their defensive organisation lately, having posted six clean sheets across their past nine fixtures in all competitions. I believe they will be able to nullify anything Chelsea will throw at them on Saturday.

Erling Haaland is a goal-scoring machine. That's a fact. The striker has scored over 30 goals in all four seasons he has spent with Manchester City. Surprisingly, he is still waiting for his moment on the big stage.

The Norway international is yet to score in a final for the Citizens, despite having played in nine of them. That's got to change at some point, right? So why not here. I've mentioned how vulnerable Chelsea are defensively and Haaland has netted four goals in eight appearances against the Blues.

Haaland also heads into Saturday's showpiece having found the net in four of his last five competitive appearances.
