Premier League Stats & Best Bets for Week 32

  • West Ham vs Wolves
  • Friday, 20:00
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: Six of West Ham's last eight Premier League home games have seen both teams score, while Wolves have netted twice in each of their last three.

Best bet: Following a run of 11 successive defeats between October and December, Wolves have only lost four of 13 top flight matches and they won't go to the London Stadium with any fear, despite losing on their last five away trips to West Ham. The Hammers are in decent form themselves, with just one defeat in their last six on home soil, and the result looks too hard to call. With plenty of goalmouth action for both this pair in recent matches, we'll double up BTTS with Over 2.5 Goals to give us an odds-against price.

  • Arsenal vs Bournemouth
  • Saturday, 12:30
  • Live on TNT Sports

Key stat: Arsenal have kept five clean sheets in their last six home games, while Bournemouth have failed to score in three of their last five matches.

Best bet: Bournemouth are on an 11-game unbeaten run and won this fixture 2-1 last season, but extending the record against Arsenal is likely to prove a step too far for the Cherries. The Gunners will be able to extend their lead over Man City to 12 points for a day at least with a win in the lunchtime kick-off and should have enough in the tank to pick up the three points. We can boost the price from 4/9 to 11/8 by backing Mikel Arteta's men to win to nil - they are averaging 0.71 expected goals against per game in the Premier League, the lowest by any side in a season in the division since Manchester City in 2021/22.

Arsenal vs AFC Bournemouth - To Win to Nil

  • Brentford vs Everton
  • Saturday, 15:00

Key stat: Brentford have drawn their last four matches in all competitions, while Everton are undefeated in their last three trips to the GTech, drawing two.

Best bet: Since gameweek 19 in the Premier League, only Arsenal (28) and Manchester United (26) have collected more points than Everton (21) and the Toffees went into the international break on a high after a 3-0 hammering of Chelsea. They look a tad overpriced here but Brentford have only lost three of their 15 home matches and both sides will probably be happy enough with a point here as they strive for European football next season. We'll back the stalemate at 12/5.

  • Burnley vs Brighton
  • Saturday, 15:00

Key stat: After winning each of their first three Premier League games this season in which they led, Burnley have since won just one of their five matches when leading.

Best bet: Brighton are hoping to win three successive league games away from home for the first time since January 2023, after excellent victories at Brentford and Sunderland, but the Seagulls look a touch short at 8/11 given they’ve only picked up maximum points four times on the road this season. With Burnley’s propensity for throwing away a lead, we’ll take a dart at a much bigger price on Fabian Hürzeler’s men winning from behind.

Burnley vs Brighton & Hove Albion - Brighton and Hove Albion Win From Behind

Yes

  • Liverpool vs Fulham
  • Saturday, 17:30
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: These two sides have scored the most goals of any Premier League team in the final 20 minutes of games this season (18), while Liverpool have conceded 18 in that time, two more than any other side.

Best bet: It’s been a chastening few weeks for Arne Slot as defeat at Brighton in the league was followed by an FA Cup hammering at Man City and a 2-0 loss at PSG in the Champions League. The defensive dropoff compared to last season has been alarming and Fulham - who’ve scored 13 against the Reds in seven games since returning to the top flight in 2022 - will fancy their chances of finding the net. With both sides doing their best work at the end of games, we’ll back BTTS in the second half here.

Liverpool vs Fulham - 2nd Half Both Teams to Score

  • Crystal Palace vs Newcastle
  • Sunday, 14:00
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: Anthony Gordon has scored in each of his last three Premier League games, his best scoring streak in the competition.

Best bet: Crystal Palace have only won one of their nine Premier League games that have immediately followed a UEFA Conference League match (excluding qualifiers) and with a full strength side out for the clash with Fiorentina on Thursday this early Sunday kick-off could be a struggle. Newcastle, however, look a touch short at 13/10 given they’ve lost six of their last nine in the league so we’ll back Anthony Gordon to continue his scoring streak. With the Eagles likely to be slow out of the blocks, we’ll take the 13/2 on offer for the England man to open the scoring.

  • Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa
  • Sunday, 14:00
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: Nottingham Forest have only scored six first half goals in their 15 home games this season, with Aston Villa matching that tally in their 15 away trips.

Best bet: This one doesn’t promise fireworks. Nottingham Forest are winless in seven home league games, failing to score in their last three, while Aston Villa have lost both of their last two away games in the Premier League. And with both in Europa League action on Thursday, it could well be a slow burner. The 2/1 on offer for a goalless first half appeals, but we’ll take a swing at the bigger price for the first goal being scored after the hour mark.

  • Sunderland vs Tottenham
  • Sunday, 14:00
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: Sunderland have lost each of their last three Premier League home games, but Tottenham remain winless in 13 Premier League games, losing eight.

Best bet: Based on their most recent league performances - a superb derby win for Sunderland away at Newcastle and a home hammering by Nottingham Forest for Tottenham - the 13/8 on the home win would be a no brainer. But Spurs of course have a new man in the dugout in the form of Roberto de Zerbi and the formbook doesn’t really help us here, for all the north Londoners are still beset by injuries. With the Black Cats saving their best for away games in recent weeks and Tottenham’s players looking to impress the new boss, we’ll go for the stalemate here.

Chelsea vs Manchester City

Sunday, 16:30

Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: Manchester City have won four of their last five away Premier League games against Chelsea, as many as they had in their previous 26 league visits to Stamford Bridge.

Best bet: After winning each of their first four Premier League games under Liam Rosenior, Chelsea have since won just one of their last six and there is real discontent among the Blues faithful, with a recent poll revealing they were even more pessimistic than Tottenham fans about the rest of the season! Man City have dropped points in their last two league matches, but were on top form in beating Arsenal and Liverpool in the two domestic cup competitions and the odds-against price on Pep Guardiola’s men looks more than fair.

  • Manchester United vs Leeds
  • Monday, 20:00
  • Live on Sky Sports

Key stat: Bruno Fernandes has been involved in eight goals in just six Premier League appearances against Leeds, more than any other Manchester United player has against the Whites in the competition.

Best bet: Leeds will head over the Pennines with a spring in their step after a dramatic penalty shootout victory over West Ham in the FA Cup last weekend, but Manchester United have been flawless at Old Trafford under Michael Carrick, which is reflected in quotes of 8/13 for the home win. We’ll focus our wagering attention on Bruno Fernandes, who enjoys facing Leeds and has an incredible 16 assists in 28 matches this season, including four in the last four. We’ll back him to make it five in five.
