Monday Greyhound Tips: Action at Doncaster and Harlow catches Michael’s eye

1 pt 15:11 Doncaster – Redbrick Luna (T6) @ SP

Two from three yesterday at Oxford. Today we head to Doncaster and Harlow with three selections across the ultra-competitive all graded cards. At 15:11 in the B2 graded race from Doncaster over the four-bend 450-metre trip, solo wide seed REDBRICK LUNA appeals from T6.

In recent weeks Luna has gone close a number of times. In fact, she's finished second in three of her last five runs. Today, granted a smart exit from the boxes, the January 2023 daughter of Droopys Addition can lead round and make all.

The recent 28.01 clock over course and distance reads well against this opposition and a repeat of that should see her make all. Cockneys Castle (T3) is the unknown in the race. The lightly raced railer has only run twice over this trip and is open to improvement. Market support should be noted.

1 pt 15:49 Doncaster – Ballinabola Moly (T4) @ SP

At 15:49 it's all eyes on the break with BALLINABOLA MOLY looking to lead round from T4. Moly was off the track from late July until returning to action recently with two sprint races and four races over the 450-metre distance in the last six weeks.

Those runs would have blown away the cobwebs and Moly should be spot on now and ready to win. Prior to the layoff, Moly was a consistent B2 performer. Today she runs in B3. When Ballinabola Moly gets it right at the boxes and leads round she's capable of clocking around the 28.10 mark, that would see her bolt up this afternoon.

Keefill Storm (T1) is going for three on the bounce and rates as the main danger. It’s imperative that Moly pings the lids and clears Keefill Storm on the run into the corner. Footfield Nala (T6) stays on well and could be worth including in forecast bets.

1 pt 20:34 Harlow – Sister Peg (T1) @ SP

A little later on, over at Harlow, one that caught the eye was the Diana Jinks-trained railer SISTER PEG, who makes her four-bend debut at 20:34. The lightly raced September 2023 daughter of Ballyhimikin Jet has run five times in sprint races and caught the eye last time out showing nice pace to the drop, hinting that this step up in distance will suit.

Tonight, if Sister Peg gets it right at the boxes, she can lead round with early-paced wide seed Brentfordforever (T6) and hit the front by the third bend and power clear of the chasing pack. Market (T4) is a consistent A7 runner with a 10 in 45 record in the grade, she could be worth including in forecast bets if sent off at fancy prices.

Keep an eye on Skidrow Jake from T2. The lightly raced July 2024 youngster was narrowly beaten over course and distance last week and would be a danger to all with a smart break tonight. The money is sharp at Harlow; significant support should be noted.
