1 pt 13:33 Monmore – Hollywell Cookie (T1) @ SP
Three from three yesterday, with Savana Clowns, Glenside Flo and Sunny Tab all winning in impressive fashion. Today, we head to Monmore and Dunstall Park looking to end the year with more winners for Betfred Insight readers.
The first selection comes from the Wolverhampton venue, Monmore, with well-drawn railer HOLLYWELL COOKIE catching the eye from T1 in the A3 graded race at 13:33 over the standard four-bend 480-metre trip.
Cookie drops back into this grade following four months at A2 and A3 grade, with an open race and top graded sprint thrown into the mix. This is much calmer waters, and with a level break it's one she can take advantage of. The key is the break and run into the corner.
If Cookie holds her pitch, she can lead off the second bend and once on the bunny she will prove hard to beat.

1 pt 18:42 Dunstall Park – Westview Dior (T1) @ SP
Over at Dunstall Park, one that jumped off the card was WESTVIEW DIOR, who is looking to make it three on the bounce following his move to the track from Perry Barr. The Gerry Ballentine-trained performer has improved nicely on the clock, going from 29.68 in a course and distance trial back on December 3, to clocking 29.29 last time out on December 17.
Further improvement is likely, especially if the August 21 daughter of Roxholme Hat leads round. Caseys Ferret (T3) is a consistent performer and rates as the danger. She could be worth including in forecast bets if sent off at fancy prices.
Shockwave Salina (T5) is lightly raced over this distance with just the three runs on her card following a step-up in distance from the two-bend 270 trip. Salina looks well-drawn to lead wide and could be the one to challenge the selection into the corner.

1 pt 19:16 Dunstall Park – Sahara Sapphire (T2) @ SP
A little later on, look out for the Julie Blunt-trained railer SAHARA SAPPHIRE, who runs from T2 in the A8 graded race at 19:16. The October 2023 daughter of Signet Ace has only run three times since July and those runs have come over the 270-metre trip.
Tonight, she makes her four-bend debut at Dunstall Park and could be absolutely thrown in at this level. The recent 29.89 course and distance trial reads well, and with further improvement possible as she strengthens following that lay-off, she looks a solid bet to lead round and make all.
Brosna Dolly (T1) makes her English debut this evening following a move from Tralee. Watch the market with this one. She’s another that could prove to be well above this company.
