Team News
Copenhagen's lengthy injury list includes Magnus Mattson, Rodrigo Huescas (both knee), Andreas Cornelius, Mohamed Elyounoussi and former Dortmund midfielder Thomas Delaney (all unspecified). All five missed last Friday's 3-1 defeat to Silkeborg in the Superliga and look likely to be sidelined again on Tuesday.
Another ex-Dortmund player, 20-year-old forward Youssoufa Moukoko, is in contention to feature, but he's only started one of his side's last four games.
As for the visitors, long-term absentees Emre Can (groin) and Julien Duranville (shoulder) miss the trip to Denmark, while Salih Ozcan was left out of the club's Champions League squad.
Julian Brandt scored off the bench in Dortmund's 4-1 victory over Athletic Club on October 1, and repeated the feat in Saturday's 2-1 Der Klassiker defeat to Bayern Munich, netting within a minute of his arrival on the pitch. The 29-year-old could earn a start on Tuesday, as could Ramy Bensebaini and Jobe Bellingham.
Copenhagen vs Borussia Dortmund Predicted Lineups
- Copenhagen: Kotarski; Suzuki, Hatzidiakos, Gabriel Pereira, Lopez; Achouri, Madsen, Lerager, Larsson; Moukoko, Claesson
- Borussia Dortmund: Kobel; Anton, Schlotterbeck, Bensebaini; Ryerson, Nmecha, Sabitzer, Svensson; Brandt, Adeyemi; Guirassy
Copenhagen vs Borussia Dortmund Odds
Copenhagen are winless in October, losing away to Qarabag and Silkeborg, either side of a 1-1 home draw with FC Midtjylland. The Danes are 7/2 underdogs on Tuesday, implying a 22.2% probability of success, while Dortmund have been installed as 4/5 favourites (55.6%).
The sides last met in November 2022, playing out a 1-1 draw at Parken Stadium. Another stalemate this week can be backed at 11/4, and a repeat of that scoreline is priced at 13/2.
Betfred are offering a couple of Price Boosts for this game, including Serhou Guirassy 1+ Shots On Target, Pantelis Hatzidiakos To Be Carded & Elias Achouri 2+ Fouls Committed at 8/1 (was 7/1).
Copenhagen vs Borussia Dortmund Stats
- Claesson (KBH) has three goals in his last five starts
- Brandt (DOR) has two goals in his last three games
- DOR have scored in 21 of their last 22 matches
- KBH have struck in 19 of their 21 contests this season
Bet Builder - Viktor Claesson (KBH) 1+ Shots on Target, Julian Brandt (DOR) 1+ Shots on Target @ 7/2
Neither Viktor Claesson nor Brandt have started a Champions League game this season, but their recent form for their respective clubs should earn both an opportunity from the off on Tuesday.
Claesson has scored three goals in his last five starts, with his latest strike a consolation effort in last Friday's defeat to Silkeborg.
The 33-year-old came on at the start of the second half in Copenhagen's last Champions League outing, a 2-0 defeat to Qarabag in Azerbaijan on October 1, and forced a save with his only shot, in the 83rd minute.
Brandt, meanwhile, has struck three times this season, including twice in his last three appearances - both as a substitute.
The 29-year-old made an instant impact away to Bayern on the weekend, and also scored off the bench against Athletic Club in second-half stoppage time on October 1, having already seen an 81st-minute effort saved.
Brandt also had a shot saved in Dortmund's 2-0 win at Mainz on September 27, too, meaning that he has registered four shots on target across his last four games, despite only starting once.
Both Teams To Score - Yes @ 8/11
Dortmund have scored in 21 of their last 22 games, including all 10 this season. They've conceded in half (five) this term, though, and half (11) stretching back to the 2024/25 campaign.
Both teams to score has been a winning selection in all three of BVB's October matches so far, as well as both of their Champions League contests.
The Bundesliga side's first European outing of the season produced eight goals as they drew 4-4 with Juventus on September 16, and at the start of this month, they were responsible for scoring 80% (four) of the five goals in their home meeting with Athletic Club.
Copenhagen have also been involved in a goalscoring draw in this season's Champions League, as they exchanged four goals at home with another German outfit, Bayer Leverkusen, on September 18 (2-2).
Jacob Neestrup's side have scored in 19 of their 21 games this term, including all nine at home, where BTTS-Yes has struck five times.
