RB Salzburg have won three of their past four away trips in all competitions and they are 5/1 to pull off an upset. The draw is available at 16/5.

Lyon vs Red Bull Salzburg Stats
- Lyon's last four wins have been to nil
- Under 2.5 goals has been a winning bet in four of the hosts' past five matches
Lyon to win to nil @ 7/4
Lyon's defensive solidity has been most impressive in the first two months of the season. They have kept clean sheets in six of their seven matches in all competitions and in all of them they have also won.
The French side are very tough to break down and they have regularly shown that they can rely on the individual quality within their ranks to make the difference in the final third.
Five of those victories have been by a 1-0 scoreline, while they did put three goals past Metz in August.
RB Salzburg are going to find their visit here difficult, particularly as they were beaten on home soil against Porto on matchday one.
Lyon are happy to soak up pressure and strike when the moment is right. They should be able to put another win on the board and I am confident that they can record another clean sheet in the process.

Under 2.5 goals @ 5/4
With a 1-0 scoreline the common theme for Lyon this term, it seems only sensible to predict another low-scoring contest. They will back themselves to handle whatever RB Salzburg throw at them on Thursday and seeing as they are usually able to get by with the one goal, they may think this trend can continue.
I'm not confident in what the visitors can offer here, so I'm not concerned about them getting on the scoresheet, but I can envisage the hosts winning by a two-goal margin. They have the quality in attack to do so and on home soil, they should be able to manage it.
Under 2.5 goals has struck in five of Lyon's seven appearances this campaign. For Salzburg, there have been fewer than three goals in two of their last three outings.
