Group G of the Club World Cup continues as Al Ain face Juventus in the wee hours of Thursday morning in Washington DC (02:00 BST, DAZN). The Italian giants are 33/1 to go all the way in this competition, which could prove to be excellent value if they can find some form.

They will be heavy favourites to get off to a winning start against UAE Pro League outfit Al An, and below you can find my Al Ain vs Juventus predictions.

Al Ain vs Juventus Betting Tips

  • Juventus to win both halves, have the most corners, have the most shots on target and Al Ain to have most booking points @ 9/2
  • Juventus win to nil, Kolo Muani and Yildiz to score @ 12/1

Team News

Al Ain have recently brought Portuguese goalkeeper Rui Patricio to the club, with the experienced international likely to start in goal against Juventus. He spent four years in Serie A having left Wolves, and will make his debut in this fixture.

Al Ain will hope their potent attack can cause trouble for Juve, as Kodjo Laba teams up with Soufiane Rahimi to try and do some damage. Rahimi was MVP in the 2024 AFC Champions League and then won the Golden Boot at last year's Paris Olympics for Morocco, while Togo’s Laba scored 20 UAE Pro League goals, including eight with his head.

Al Ain vs Juventus Stats

  • Al Ain finished fifth in their domestic league
  • Juventus have only lost one of nine under Tudor
  • Kolo Muani has scored eight in 16 Serie A games since joining in January

Today's Football Fixtures

Igor Tudor can consider this to be his final audition for the permanent role in charge of the Old Lady, after the interim head coach replaced Thiago Motta in March. He will be boosted by the returns of Gleison Bremer and Arkadiusz Milik, with the duo back in training after long-term injuries.

They won’t be involved in this opener, but Manuel Locatelli should be fit after his ankle problem, having withdrawn from international duty with Italy to recuperate. He scored the penalty that secured Champions League qualification, and will play a key role this summer.

Kenan Yildiz should start in one of the attacking roles in the 3-4-2-1 system after an impressive campaign, with Randal Kolo Muani and Dusan Vlahovic battling it out for that lone striker role. Former Bournemouth and Newcastle United defender Lloyd Kelly has made his loan move permanent, and should start in the back three.

Al Ain vs Juventus Odds

Al Ain are priced at 9/1 to win this game, while Juventus are available at 1/3. That gives the Old Lady an implied win probability of 75% while a draw can be backed at 4/1.

Looking at the goals market, over 2.5 is 4/5 and BTTS is 11/10, while Vlahovic is the favourite to open the scoring at 7/2 having scored 10 Serie A goals in 2024/25. There are also plenty of Bet Builders and Price Boosts on Betfred that you can check out by clicking the above link.

Juventus to win both halves, have the most corners, the most shots on target and Al Ain most booking points @ 9/2

This should be fairly straightforward in terms of a Juventus win, so I’m taking a punt at two Price Boosts offered by Betfred. First up, let’s back Juve to dominate the match by winning both halves, having the most corners and the most shots on target. They may have ‘only’ finished fourth in Serie A but since Tudor took over they have been much improved, winning five, drawing three and losing just one of his nine games in charge.

Juventus Club World Cup Preview

Meanwhile Al Ain only finished fifth in their domestic league, and the defence of their AFC Champions League title was woeful, as they finished bottom of the table, losing six and drawing two of their eight games. Their defence has struggled all season and I can’t see anything other than a big Juve win. The UAE outfit should also pick up more yellow cards simply because they will be defending far more than the Italians will. Happy to back this one, boosted from 7/2 to 9/2.

Juventus win to nil, Kolo Muani and Yildiz to score @ 12/1

The same theory follows for this selection, although this one offers far better odds. Boosted from an initial price of 9/1, this price really is tempting. Juventus to win to nil is fairly self-explanatory given the gulf in class between the two teams, and I can’t see Al Ain offering much from an attacking point of view.

Juve should be able to keep them out, while backing their two key forwards to score also makes sense. Kolo Muani has scored 10 goals in 33 appearances this campaign, but he got eight in 16 in Serie A since his loan move from PSG in January - that deal has been extended for this competition. Meanwhile, Yildiz has nine goals and seven assists from his supporting role and I think both will combine to tear Al Ain apart.

This could be a big winner if things go how I expect them to in the American capital.
