Club World Cup Team Betting Predictions: Juventus

A headline-grabbing international club competition needs big-name participants, and few organisations come louder and prouder than Juventus. But La Vecchia Signora is not in the greatest of help ahead of kick-off at the Club World Cup.
Below are my Juventus Fifa Club World Cup 2025 predictions, including an assessment of their squad and chances of winning the competition.
Club World Cup Team Betting Predictions - Juventus
Group G: Man City, Wydad Casablanca, Al Ain, Juventus
Fixtures: Al Ain vs Juventus (02:00 BST, June 19), Juventus vs Wydad Casablanca (17:00 BST, June 22), Juventus vs Manchester City (20:00 BST, June 26)
Player to watch: Dusan Vlahovic
If this competition was making its big debut a decade ago, or even five years ago, then Juventus might have been set to have a huge say in the latter stages.
But in 2025 this is a Juve side which scraped in as one of the lower-ranked Uefa members. That’s because their on-field returns have been miserly of late.
In 2024/25 they finished 20th in the Champions League, then were beaten in extra time of the play-off round by PSV. And it was only with 17 minutes remaining on the final day of the Serie A season that they secured a spot back in the UCL thanks to Manuel Locatelli’s game-winning penalty at Venezia.
Interim head coach Igor Tudor, who replaced Thiago Motta in March, will need a positive return in the States if he is to be considered as a candidate for the full-time role next season when the Bianconeri’s new executive structure finally comes round to appointing a head coach.
There are obvious reasons not to believe in Juve’s chances at the Club World Cup beyond their own form. They have been planted in a group with Manchester City and Real Madrid likely await for the runners-up of their pool.
That is part of why they are a fairly lengthy 25/1 shot to win the trophy, and they are odds-against for success in Group G.
Man City are huge 2/5 favourites to finish on top, with Juventus at 2/1. Beyond the big European clubs, Al Ain are available at 25/1 with Wydad Casablanca the huge 50/1 outsiders.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Player to watch: Dusan Vlahovic
Juve’s biggest drawback over the last 10 months has been their lack of goals.
Their tally of 58 goals in 38 Serie A contests was 21 shy of Inter’s league-best mark, while the nine they scored in eight Champions League group matches ranked them 26th of 36 teams for goals scored.
As such, they could really do with Dusan Vlahovic finding some form in front of goal if they are to cause some upsets at the Club World Cup. A muscle injury in November really stunted his progress in the regular season, with nine goals in 16 games prior to the lay-off giving way to six in 25 thereafter.
If the Serbian can deliver the sort of displays that have had Newcastle United and others sniffing around, then Juve might have a chance of progressing further into the tournament than seems likely at first glance.

Prediction: To reach the quarter-finals @ 7/4
This is very much my speculative call, with the 1/8 odds for them qualifying from Group G being prohibitive at best.
If they are to get to the quarter-finals, they will probably need to make the most of playing Man City in their last group game by catching out Pep Guardiola’s side at a weaker moment.
Should they do that, then as group winners they would likely find themselves up against Al Hilal or RB Salzburg in the round of 16 before potentially facing Inter Milan in the last eight.
The head says they are more likely to finish second and face Real Madrid in a shootout for a quarter-final spot, but it’s my search for value that believes a dig at them topping the group and passing Group H’s lesser qualifiers is the way forward.
The 7/4 implies a 36.4% probability which gives a little value given the two possible routes through the draw.
