Germany vs Italy Predictions
*odds correct at time of publication
Having won away in Italy in the first leg, Germany are 4/5 to repeat the triumph on home soil, while the Azzurri are 7/2 to get their revenge with a shock victory. The draw is available at 11/4.
The Germans won all three home games in the group phase of the competition to nil and a repeat success is on offer at 15/8, while both teams to score, which has happened in eight of the last nine meetings between the sides, is a 4/5 chance.
Team News
Germany midfielder Florian Wirtz was suspended for the first leg but has been injured and is expected to join Marc-Andre Stegen, Kai Havertz, Benjamin Henrichs, Felix Nmecha and Aleksandar Pavlovic on the sidelines.
Italy were unable to call upon injured trio Federico Dimarco, Andrea Cambiaso and Mateo Retegui for this double-header, while Manuel Locatelli was a surprise omission from the squad.
Germany to win @ 4/5
Germany are back on the rise under manager Nagelsmann, whose 20 matches in charge have featured 12 wins and only three defeats.
In fact, the only defeat they have suffered in their last 16 internationals came after extra-time to Spain in the quarter-final of last summer’s European Championship and they have been near foot perfect in this season’s Nations League.
In topping Nations League Group A3, Germany won all three home games against Hungary, the Netherlands and Bosnia and Herzegovina and did so by scoring 13 goals without reply.
That shows the difficulty that Italy are faced with following their opening-leg loss and, having managed only one clean sheet in their last 11 internationals, Germany may be able to pick them off with the Azzurri having to adopt a positive approach.

Jamal Musiala to score anytime @ 2/1
With some key attackers ruled out, Bayern Munich maverick Jamal Musiala could be key for Germany as he bids to bolster his tally of seven goals in 39 caps.
Musiala is a top talent and he is having an excellent season in the Bundesliga, where he has 11 goals and three assists in 23 appearances.
The 22-year-old scored in home wins over Hungary and Bosnia in the group phase of this competition and, likely to be deployed with freedom in the 10 role, he can strike the fatal blow to the Italians.
