Weekend Football Accumulator Tips

  • Aberdeen beat Dundee @ 21/20
  • Hearts beat Livingston @ 1/3
  • Hibs beat Motherwell @ 6/4
  • Kilmarnock beat St Johnstone @ 21/20
  • Overall Odds - 13/1

Aberdeen beat Dundee

We opposed Aberdeen to good effect earlier in the season but appear to have timed their turnaround to perfection. The Pittodrie side enjoys the home advantage over Dundee and take confidence from a three-game unbeaten run consisting of two wins and a draw. They beat Motherwell and Ross County before being held to a goalless draw at a Livingston side fighting for their Premiership survival. Saturday’s game looks like a great chance to return to winning ways.

Dundee arrive in the Granite City with two wins in their last five games, including a 3-2 home defeat to Motherwell last weekend. The Dens Park pitch failed another inspection on Wednesday, forcing the cancelation of their game against Rangers, and they could miss out on the top six. They have a poor record at this venue, and we’re happy to stick with the hosts.

Hearts beat Livingston

Hearts return to Tynecastle for the visit of bottom club Livingston, with the Jambos expected to add another three points to their already impressive tally. Steven Naismith’s side are 11 points clear of nearest rivals Kilmarnock in fourth, meaning third place is all but secured this term. They’ll finish as the best of the rest behind the Old Firm and have a great opportunity to show why with a big win over the Lions.

Livingston's season has been one to forget, with manager David Martindale working on a shoestring budget. If the club is relegated, which is looking increasingly likely, the board will only have themselves to blame. The visitors have taken just two of the last 15 points available, and we expect that horrible run to continue in the capital. We add Hearts to our bet with confidence.

Hibs beat Motherwell

Moving to the first of our two away wins and we’re hopeful Hibs will do us a favour at Fir Park. The team from the capital has a real chance of finishing in the top six and ensuring they boost their bank balance with another game against the Old Firm. To stand any chance of achieving that they must win on the road and hope Dundee fall flat at Pittodrie.

Motherwell enter this game in eighth place having won only one of their last three. They’re an improving side and claimed victory over Dundee at a woeful Dens Park after drawing at home with St Mirren. They’re good enough to get something from the match, but Hibs need is greater, and that should show in the result.

Kilmarnock beat St Johnstone

We wrap things up with a trip to Perth, where St Johnstone host Kilmarnock. Former Scotland manager Craig Levein was drafted into McDiarmid Park to help steady the ship and drive the team up the table, but things haven’t gone according to plan for either party. St Johnstone start this game in 10th, one place and four points better than the relegation zone after winning just one of their last four.

Kilmarnock is pushing hard at the opposite end of the ladder and will likely finish in fourth, which is an incredible result for Derek McInnis and his men. The Rugby Park outfit arrive on a four-game unbeaten run, meaning there’s confidence in the ranks. They’re good enough to add another three points on Saturday to delight fans and hopefully send backers away with a decent profit.
