Swansea vs Millwall Prediction Betting Tips 04:05:24

There is little riding on the final game of the Championship season for Swansea or Millwall, who meet at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday.

The Swans have been in the bottom half of the table for most of the season but without ever being in serious relegation danger, as they have not been in the bottom six since the autumn.

Millwall's season has been far more nerve-wracking but four successive wins has seen them pull clear of trouble in the last few weeks and they can breathe a sigh of relief heading into their 46th league game.

The Swans have also been in decent form to end the campaign, taking 10 points from their last four games, and they may be able to send their fans into the summer break with another victory. Below you can find my Swnasea vs Millwall prediction.

Swansea vs Millwall Betting Tips

  • Swansea to win @ 21/20
  • Swansea 2-0 correct score @ 9/1

Team news

Swansea defender Harry Darling will miss the match after undergoing surgery on a foot injury. Harrison Ashby, Kyle Naughton, Joe Allen, Przemyslaw Placheta and Josh Ginnelly are still sidelined.

Defenders Murray Wallace and Joe Bryan are both out for Millwall and goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski, who is leaving the club this summer, will not be involved.

Swansea to win @ 21/20

Both of these teams are unbeaten in their last four games but Swansea should be able to add one more victory before the summer break.

It would be understandable if Millwall subconsciously ease off now the pressure of their relegation battle has lifted and their current four-game winning streak is easily their best spell of the season.

In fact, the Lions had strung together only two previous runs of more than a single win at a time and it's worth noting that three of those successes came at the Den.

They won away at Sunderland in their penultimate away outing, but the Black Cats are ending the campaign in terrible form with only two wins in their last 14 games.

The Swans have won three of their last four home games to nil and they also triumphed in the teams' first meeting of the season 3-0 at the Den in September with goals from Jamal Lowe, Matt Grimes and Mykola Kukharevych.

The Welsh club have beaten Huddersfield 4-0 and earned a decent 2-2 away draw at play-off contenders Norwich in their last two games. With three teams, including Millwall, just a point behind them in the table, the Swans also have the incentive of wanting to win to keep hold of their current 13th place.

 Swansea 2-0 correct score @ 9/1

Swansea have not been prolific scorers at home this season and in fact they have scored seven more goals on the road (33) than they have in front of their own fans.

They have won four of their last five home games, though, with the last three - against Cardiff, Stoke and Rotherham - all coming with clean sheets.

Millwall have scored only 15 goals in their last 18 games and have found the net more than once on only a single occasion in their last 11 matches.

The Swans have netted 10 times in their last four games and a solid 2-0 home success looks a reasonable option in the correct-score market at 9/1 .

Match Odds

Swansea are favourites at home and are priced at 21/20 to win the game, with Millwall available at 13/5 and the draw on offer at 12/5.

Over 2.5 goals in the match is priced at 10/11, with under 2.5 at 4/5, while it's 8/11 that both teams score in the game and 1/1 for at least one side to fail to find the net.
