Arsenal vs Everton

Arsenal head into the final day of the Premier League season with their fate not in their own hands. Manchester City's win over Tottenham Hotspur in the week has seen them move two points ahead of the Gunners in the title race, so as much as Mikel Arteta's side need to do their job against Everton at the Emirates on Sunday (TNT Sports 1, 16:00), they are reliant on City slipping up.

Below I have laid out my Arsenal vs Everton predictions, along with match odds and team news. And I am very confident that the Gunners will do their part to try and ensure this title race will go down to the wire.

Arsenal vs Everton Betting Tips

  • #PickYourPunt - Arsenal to win, Trossard, Havertz and Saka to score anytime @ 7/1
  • Arsenal to win to nil @ 19/20

Arsenal vs Everton Odds

Arsenal are 1/6 to win this clash, which gives them an 85.7% chance of victory. Everton are priced at 14/1, giving them an implied probability of 6.7%. The draw can be backed at 13/2 (13.3%).

Both teams to score is on offer at 10/11 and it has landed in four of Everton's last six away games. Over 2.5 goals is marketed at 4/11.

Team News

Bukayo Saka limped off the pitch for the umpteenth time at Old Trafford last weekend after being sent into the advertising hoardings, but it is likely that he will be fine to resume his role on the right flank on Sunday.

It remains to be seen whether defender Jurrien Timber, who has been absent since the first day of the season, will be given any minutes here, but it is likely that Takehiro Tomiyasu will continue to hold the left-back position for now.

Everton are going to be missing Dele Alli, Vitaliy Mykolenko, Jack Harrison and Nathan Patterson due to injury. Andre Gomes is a doubt to feature after taking a whack to the face last time out against Sheffield United.

#PickYourPunt - Arsenal to win, Trossard, Havertz and Saka to score anytime @ 7/1

Backing Arsenal to win this match offers little value so I have had a go at putting together a valuable bet builder that includes the Gunners to take the three points. That leg is self-explanatory. They need to win this game to have any chance of winning the title and there is no way I can see them failing to get the job done on home soil in front of a packed-out crowd.

Everton have nothing to play for, survival was secured a few weeks ago and all they have left to play for is pride, and that doesn't compare to what the hosts are playing for. Arsenal should have more than enough to win this one comfortably.

The rest of the bet is made up of anytime goalscorers. I have gone for Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz to get on the scoresheet for the Gunners because not only have they scored the most goals for the team this campaign, they have been in fine form in recent weeks.

Havertz has three goals in his last four appearances and his total stands at 12. Trossard was the match-winner against Manchester United last time out and he has also netted 12 league goals for the Gunners, also scoring the most non-penalty goals for the club. Saka is the top scorer with 16 and he has scored two in his last three outings.

This trio have been excellent for Arsenal this season and their goals have been vital in Arteta's team pushing Man City all the way once again. They have all been in scoring form in recent weeks and they will all want to play their part in giving Arsenal their best chance at securing their first Premier League title in 20 years.

I am confident Arsenal will win this game and that they will score a few goals in the process. And with that in mind, I can see all three of these attacking stars getting on the scoresheet.

#PickYourPunt at 7/1 Arsenal to win to nil @ 19/20

I have already outlined my reasons for why Arsenal will win this contest comfortably, but I am also confident that we will see them keep a clean sheet in the process, too.

The Gunners have the best defence in the league and over the course of the campaign they have managed 18 clean sheets, five more than Everton and Man City with the joint-second best defensive record. The centre-back pairing of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes is one of the best partnerships we've seen in a while and they both work extremely well together.

The duo, along with Ben White, have been just as key to Arsenal's title challenge as the goals and creativity from the attacking players. As I have already mentioned, Everton have nothing to gain from this game so the onus will be on Arsenal, and as much as they will want to strengthen their goal difference, they will also want to end the season with another clean sheet.
