Two weeks of hard work comes to a close on Saturday as Amanda Anisimova and Iga Swiatek contest the Wimbledon Women's singles final on Centre Court. Both players are making their first appearance in the showpiece at SW19, with this being the former's first-ever Grand Slam final.

This looks to be a fascinating contest between two players who have performed brilliantly at the Championships, and one that everyone hopes lives up to the billing. Below you can check out my Wimbledon Betting Tips for this final.

Set Betting - Iga Swiatek to beat Amanda Anisimova 2-1 @ 11/4

Swiatek has been one of the best players on the WTA Tour for several years now. She has been dubbed the Queen of Clay for her dominance at Roland Garros, having won four of the past six editions of the French Open.

The Polish star has also enjoyed major success at the US Open, as she has also demonstrated her talents as a solid player on the hard court. But for some time, people have asked questions about her potential as a dominant all-rounder because of her application on grass.

Wimbledon has passed her by time and again, with her best performance before this year coming in the quarter-final run in 2023 - when she lost to wild card Elina Svitolina. The 24-year-old has put in the work to become a much more competitive player on this surface and it has been paying off as this is the most comfortable she has looked at the Championships.

Her semi-final victory over Belinda Bencic was one of the best performances of her career as she won a whopping 83% of her first-serve points. She also looked assured in handling power from her opponent, something Anisimova will look to disrupt her with on Saturday.

Swiatek is unlikely to be fazed after dropping just a single set at the All England Club so far this summer, which came against Caty McNally all the way back in the second round. The bookies have her as the overwhelming favourite, but her opponent still has appeal.

Amanda Anisimova vs Iga Swiatek - Set Betting Iga Swiatek 2-1

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Anisimova, the 13th seed, has all the makings of a Wimbledon champion. She seems to have everything to succeed at this Slam and the 23-year-old will be hoping to secure her maiden crown on Centre Court this weekend.

One thing working for her here is that this is the first career meeting between the two players, so neither are familiar with each other's game on a firsthand basis.

I mentioned earlier how Anisimova's power can be a deadly weapon, which world number one Aryna Sabalenka struggled with in their semi-final battle. However, under pressure, Anisimova's forehand can be quite erratic, and Swiatek has the quality to capitalise on any openings she is gifted.

She will be reliant on strong service to try and catch out her opponent, If not, she will be on the back foot trying to handle everything Swiatek throws at her. Credit must be given to her for how she played in her victories over Linda Noskova, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Sabalenka.

This momentum can give Swiatek some grief but the overwhelming pressure of her first Grand Slam final appearance could prove to be too much for her on the day. This tournament really feels like her breakthrough and getting to the final alone is a fantastic achievement.

Her movement is exceptional and she is well-suited to this grass so I do think Swiatek should be prepared for this one to go the distance.

With that being said, her extensive experience in Grand Slam finals should give the Pole the edge, and I think she will add the Wimbledon title to her already-impressive CV, which would just leave the Australian Open to go for her to complete the set.
