It was a disappointing day at the office on Tuesday as none of my three tennis picks landed. I'm hoping for far greater success on Wednesday and all my focus is on day three at Queen's.

Below you will find my Tennis Betting Tips, which feature British star Jack Draper.

Tennis Betting Tips - Wednesday, June 18

  • Set Betting - Jack Draper to beat Alexei Popyrin 2-0 @ 8/15
  • Set Betting - Brandon Nakashima to beat Dan Evans 2-1 @ 13/5
  • Set Betting - Holger Rune to beat Mackenzie McDonald 2-0 @ 21/20

Set Betting - Jack Draper to beat Alexei Popyrin 2-0 @ 8/15

There is optimism amongst Brits this summer that Draper could become the first Wimbledon men's singles champion since Andy Murray in 2016. The British number one has come on leaps and bounds in the last nine months.

The 23-year-old is continuing to grow on court and right now you would argue he is the biggest threat to the likes of Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner to win the Grand Slam next month.

He has proven that he can shine on grass in the past but there is still room for improvement if he is to become a Wimbledon champion. His preparation at Queen's continues on Wednesday against Alexei Popyrin.

The Australian can provide a tough match but he much prefers playing on the hard court. Being out on grass should play into Draper's hands and I think he will march on into the next round.

I have Draper to triumph in straight sets.

Alexei Popyrin vs Jack Draper - Set Betting Jack Draper 2-0

Set Betting - Brandon Nakashima to beat Dan Evans 2-1 @ 13/5

A former British number one is also in action in West Kensington on Wednesday. Dan Evans is still plugging away on court at the age of 35 amidst doubts about his ability to continue playing at the highest level.

Evans looked to roll back the years in the last round as he defeated America's Frances Tiafoe in straight sets. This booked him a meeting with another American in Brandon Nakashima. Both players like playing on grass so this looks to be an interesting match-up on paper.

Nakashima edges the head-to-head meetings 3-1 and he comes into this latest contest as the favourite due to his ranking and form. If Evans plays like he did against Tiafoe, he will make this a very tough match for his opponent, but I do think Nakashima will be able to get the job done.

I'm backing him to win in three sets.

Daniel Evans vs Brandon Nakashima - Set Betting Brandon Nakashima 2-1

Set Betting - Holger Rune to beat Mackenzie McDonald 2-0 @ 21/20

Holger Rune will be out to make a point in the grass-court season as he did not have a fruitful time out on clay after claiming the Barcelona title. He has shown his abilities on grass in the past and this presents him with an opportunity to initiate a real breakthrough on this surface.

He made it to the quarter-finals at Wimbledon two years ago, losing out to the eventual winner Alcaraz, but that experience is likely to have aided his development. He will return to SW19 with a lot more experience behind him and he possesses the base attributes of someone who can become a strong force on grass.

Rune faces Mackenzie McDonald at Queen's on Wednesday, who will have taken great confidence from his straight-sets victory over Gael Monfils on Monday. The American can provide Rune with a stern test but if the Dane brings his A-game, this could end up being a very short contest.

I believe Rune can get the victory in two sets.

Holger Rune vs Mackenzie McDonald - Set Betting Holger Rune 2-0
