Match Betting - Marco Trungelliti to beat Alejandro Davidovich Fokina @ 5/2
We begin in Umag, Croatia, where World No. 99 Marco Trungelliti takes on World No. 20 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the second round.
The higher-ranked Spaniard was handed a first-round bye, and he's the favourite to progress to the quarter-finals.
But his opponent is a seasoned veteran on the clay courts, and he's already played 31 matches on the surface this calendar year, posting a 20-11 record. Most notably, he reached the final in Marrakech, Morocco in April, losing out on the title 3-6, 2-6 to Spanish wonderkid Rafael Jodar.
The 36-year-old Argentine was just over a month away from the clay before beating Frenchman Kyrian Jacquet 6-2, 6-3 in the first round of the Umag Open on Monday, setting up a fourth meeting with ADF, and a third on clay.
Trungelliti won 6-3, 6-3 in Marbella in March 2018 and 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in Biella six months later, before they hit the hard courts of New York at the US Open in August 2021, with the South American prevailing 5-7, 6-3, 7-5, 6-7, 6-4 in a five-set marathon.
ADF, meanwhile, is 4-4 on clay in 2026, failing to pick up back-to-back wins on the surface all year, and his last match on it was a 6-4, 6-7, 1-6, 3-6 defeat to another Argentine, Thiago Agustin Tirante, at the French Open on May 27.
The 27-year-old returns to the clay courts after a solid run at Wimbledon, where he made the fourth round, and the transition away from the grass may take a little time.
Given the head-to-head record, Trungelliti's familiarity with and fondness of the surface, as well as ADF's time away from the clay, I'm happy to back the underdog here at 5/2.

Set Betting - Maria Sakkari 2-0 vs Harriet Dart @ 4/6
Greek No. 1 Maria Sakkari came up trumps for me in Monday's Tennis Betting Tips, where I also successfully backed British No. 5 Harriet Dart to lose a set against Mina Hodzic.
Sakkari saw off Polina Kudermetova in straight sets, winning 6-0, 7-6 (7-1) in the first round of the Athens Open, where she is the fourth seed. As you can see by the scoreline, after an easy first set, the 30-year-old made hard work of the second, particularly after being 4-2 up.
However, she romped to victory in the second-set tiebreak, and that scare may actually serve as an important lesson for the rest of the tournament.
Sakkari's second-round opponent, Dart, was also impressive in the opening set of her first-round match, but she lost the second and had to battle through a third-set tiebreak, eventually triumphing 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (7-4) against Hodzic.
Dart and Sakkari have only met once before, on the Ilkley grass in June 2017, when the latter came out on top 6-4, 6-0.
The two players are far apart in the rankings, with Sakkari 37th and Dart 152nd, and the talent gap between them is pretty substantial.
Given that, and the fact this tournament is in Sakkari's birthplace of Athens, meaning she will enjoy the full support of the crowd, there's only one winner here in my eyes, and once again, I'm backing her to come through in straight sets, hopefully in more convincing fashion this time around.
