Tennis Betting Tips: Andreeva to exact revenge on Kostyuk after Madrid and Brisbane battles

The men's singles has created plenty of headlines at the 2026 French Open, with Jannik Sinner's shock second-round defeat to Juan Manuel Cerundolo arguably the biggest talking point of all, but it was the women's singles that took centrestage on Wednesday following World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka's meltdown in her quarter-final with Diana Shnaider, who came from 5-3 down in the second set to win 10 consecutive games and triumph 3-6, 7-5, 6-0.
Shnaider features in my Tennis Betting Tips for Day 12 of Roland-Garros, which you can check out below.

Set Betting - Mirra Andreeva 2-1 vs Marta Kostyuk @ 7/2
Mirra Andreeva made light work of an in-form Sorana Cirstea in their quarter-final tie on Tuesday, beating the Romanian 6-0, 6-3, dropping serve just once en route to her second semi-final at Roland-Garros.
The 19-year-old has lost just one set in Paris this year, to Spanish qualifier Marina Bassols (3-6, 6-1, 6-1), and after a near-miss in Madrid last month, losing the final 3-6, 5-7 to Marta Kostyuk, she'll be eyeing up the title, a first-ever Grand Slam one at that, in Paris, particularly with Sabalenka, World No. 2 Elena Rybakina and reigning champion Coco Gauff all out of the reckoning.
World No. 8 Andreeva is, in fact, the highest-ranked woman left standing, with the other two players on the other side of the draw, Shnaider and Maja Chwalinska, 23rd and 114th, respectively.
The Russian's semi-final opponent, Kostyuk, is second-highest ranked at 15th, and the Ukrainian has never lost to Andreeva, with both of their meetings coming this calendar year.
Kostyuk won 7-6, 6-3 in Brisbane in January and 6-3, 7-5 in the final of Madrid last month, so she has the mental edge here, and arrives on a 17-match win streak.
The 23-year-old edged out Elina Svitolina 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 in an all-Ukrainian quarter-final on Tuesday and will fancy her chances of making Saturday's showpiece in Paris.
However, after her routine victory over Cirstea, it's Andreeva who I'm backing to reach the 2026 French Open final, in a tense three-setter.
Andreeva's serving has been a bit cleaner, and her unforced errors have been decreasing as the rounds go by, while Kostyuk has been leaking them at a more rapid rate.

Total Games - Over 21.5 in Diana Shnaider vs Maja Chwalinska @ 5/6
I can't call a winner here, so the best bet is to back Over 21.5 Games and just enjoy the action.
Shnaider looked down and out against Sabalenka but staged a miraculous recovery to book her semi-final spot, while life was more plainsailing for her upcoming opponent, Polish qualifier Chwalinska, who beat Anna Kalinskaya 7-6, 6-3 on Wednesday and has dropped just one set en route to the final four.
Only one of Chwalinska's eight matches at this year's French Open, including her three qualifiers, have gone Over 21.5 Games, and that was her third-round victory over Maria Sakkari (1-6, 6-3, 6-2), but I'm expecting Shnaider to pose her stiffest test yet with so much on the line.
Shnaider came through the first three rounds of the main draw without losing a set but was taken to a third by Madison Keys (6-3, 3-6, 6-0) in the last 16 before Wednesday's win over Sabalenka.
Chwalinska and Shnaider have only met once before, but that was an ITF match on Istanbul clay in April 2022, when the latter won 6-4, 6-4.
Plenty has happened since, and both will now be targeting a maiden Grand Slam final this weekend.
I can see this one going to three sets, too, so I'm backing Over 21.5 Games at 5/6.
