It comes as little surprise to see that the names at the top of the betting market are pretty much a reverse of who the traders think are going to win the show.

Nella Rose, Grace Dent and Jamie-Lynn Spears are all priced up at 3/1 to be the first campmate voted off by the public.

The former didn’t make a great first impression by screaming her way through her first trial and failing to get any stars. The 26-year-old YouTuber has already professed that she’s terrified of pretty much everything that she is likely to face in the jungle and the Catfish UK presenter may not be long for this show.

Grace Dent should be kept in for a while as she would be fantastic TV. However I’m not sure that the columnist will vibe with the viewers that well. If we see her stay for more than a few days and we get a real insight into what she thinks of Nigel Farage, it might be gold.

However the contestant who I think will be first to leave is Jamie-Lynn Spears. Show bosses are already briefing to the newspapers that they fear the sister of Pop Star Britney, will quit the hit ITV1 show.

She refused to take part in publicity in Australia. Whilst campmates are not required to do so in their contracts, it is rare for them to not be a full participant with journalists. In the early hours of camp, the 32-year-old has isolated herself and is not socialising, which is a red flag for someone thinking about quitting.

As part of her contract, she has to stay in the jungle for at least 72 hours to pick up her full pay cheque and that might well be the key timeframe. At 3/1, the American has every chance of walking or being told to leave by the voting public.

It would be a shock if the first to leave did not come from that trio. Nick Pickard comes in next at 6/1 and the Hollyoaks actor is certainly not someone we expect to last long in the jungle.

Pop star and DJ Marvin Humes is the only other contestant priced up in the single-digits to be the first person to leave the jungle, coming in at 7/1.
