Team News

Ellis Bevan comes in at scrum-half for Wales in place of Tomos Williams, who has been ruled out of the remainder of the autumn series after suffering a shoulder injury.

In the other three changes made from the defeat to Fiji, centre Tom Rogers replaces the injured Mason Grady and flankers Jac Morgan and James Botham are in for Taine Plumtree and Tommy Reffell.

Australia have made six changes from the victory over England, with Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii dropped to the replacements' bench despite his star performance in that win. His place in the centres is taken by Samu Kerevi.

Flanker Seru Uru replaces captain Harry Wilson, who is out with concussion. Prop Allan Alaalatoa is in for Taniela Tupou and assumes the captaincy.

Lock Will Skelton is drafted in for Jeremy Williams, Max Jorgensen starts on the wing in place of the injured Dylan Pietsch and Nic White replaces Jake Gordon at scrum-half.

Wales are 11/5 to win on home soil against 4/11 favourites Australia. The tie is priced at 22/1.

Betfred have offered a Price Boost on Wales to score the first and last try of the game, moving from 3/1 to 7/2.

Australia -6 Handicap @ 5/6

Australia stunned Twickenham last weekend to get the better of England, edging that contest 42-37, and the Wallabies can showcase their attacking qualities at the expense of Wales.

The Dragons suffered a 24-19 defeat to Fiji at the Principality last time out, a result that meant they equalled the nation's worst losing record of 10 Tests in a row that was set back in 2002 and 2003 when Steve Hansen was at the helm.

Warren Gatland's side have not won since the group stage of the 2023 World Cup and they will struggle to contain an Australia side that have enjoyed their visits to Cardiff.

The Wallabies have won nine of their last 11 trips to the Principality and they also defeated Wales twice in July Down Under, recording 25-16 and 36-28 victories.

Max Jorgensen anytime tryscorer @ 5/4

Max Jorgensen is one of Australia's rising stars and he has earned four caps for his country, having made his international debut in the second round of the 2024 Rugby Championship against South Africa.

The 20-year-old came off the bench to score his maiden try in the win over England last weekend and he has been drafted into the starting XV on the wing for this clash.

Coming up against a Welsh side devoid of confidence, he should be able to cross the whitewash at least once.
