Ireland vs Scotland Prediction: Scots set to end Dublin drought

Both Ireland and Scotland lost their opening Six Nations fixtures but have won their next three games since, giving them a chance to claim the Six Nations title on 'Super Saturday'.

The Irish need a bonus-point win and for England to beat France in the late game, while a first victory in Dublin since 2010 could see the Scots take the Championship for the first time since 1999, but it is again dependent on a shock result in Saint-Denis.
After losing to the French on the opening night, Ireland have beaten Italy, England and Wales in largely grinding fashion.
A bit of grit could have helped Scotland in their round one loss in Rome, but they have responded with brilliant wins over England and France, either side of scraping past Wales.
Last Saturday's 50-40 victory against Les Bleus felt like a watershed for Gregor Townsend's team and they can win at the Aviva Stadium, although it might be in vain.
Team News
Ireland have made four changes from the side that beat Wales. A calf injury rules out James Ryan, and Joe McCarthy takes his place in the second row.
Hooker Dan Sheehan and flanker Josh van der Flier are also restored, while Tommy O'Brien takes over from Jacob Stockdale on the left wing.
Two-time British & Irish Lions tourist Bundee Aki is a surprise inclusion on the bench.
Scotland's three changes come in the pack where tighthead prop Zanger Fagerson starts after being used off the bench as an impact player against France, while Max Williamson and Grant Gilchrist form a new-look second row.
Ireland are 1/2 to win, with a tie 16/1 and Scotland 7/4.
The 3-Way Handicap mark is set at five points, with Scotland +5 available at 10/11.
Scotland to win @ 7/4
Scotland haven't beaten Ireland home or away since 2017, while their last victory in Ireland came at Croke Park in 2010.
It means they are still to win a match at the Aviva Stadium, while Townsend, who played in his country's Five Nations success in 1999, has never coached his country to victory over Ireland.
Their current form feels different, though. Scotland failed to play the conditions in their rainy opening defeat to Italy and while they were indifferent during the win in Wales, beating England and France shows how good they are.
Those two victories came at Murrayfield and they now need to show similar intensity against Ireland, who have gone back to basics after their chastening defeat in Saint-Denis but lack their previous rhythm.
In contrast, Scotland are purring and are a great price to maintain their title push with a rare Dublin success.

Jack Conan to score a try @ 5/2
However, Ireland won't go down without a fight and Jack Conan could lead their charge.
He scored a try off the bench last year at Murrayfield, one of three scores he managed in the 2025 Six Nations and is on two for this tournament after crossing the line against Italy and Wales.
Conan's super strength is his ability to power over from close range, so don't be shocked if he scores a third try of the campaign.
