Saracens star Ivan van Zyl has more points than any other player so far this season (110) and the South African will be expected to start once again on Saturday.

However, one man who will play no part for the Sarries in this contest is flanker Toby Knight after the Englishman was shown a red card early in the first half of the demoralising defeat to Bath.

Bristol will be hoping that Gabriel Ibitoye can continue his fine try-scoring season, having gone over on a league-high seven occasions so far.

Fly-half AJ MacGinty is a definite absentee after undergoing surgery on a serious knee injury, while the likes of Kieran Marmion and Benjamin Grondona will be vying for starts after coming off the bench last time out.

Saracens have won each of their last four matches at the StoneX Stadium in all competitions - including an impressive 39-24 victory over reigning Premiership champions Northampton Saints - however this run may come to an end on Saturday.

Sarries have only won two of their last five league fixtures, losing each of their other three, and one of these defeats came against the Newcastle Falcons (17-12) - a side who went the entirety of last season without winning a single game.

The Bears, meanwhile, are the only side in the division boasting a 100% away record this season, winning each of their five fixtures on the road by a combined score of 202-112.

That impressive scoring tally betters that of any other side at home this season and they will fancy their chances of continuing this impressive record against the out-of-sorts Saracens.
