France vs Scotland Betting Tips

  • Scotland +15 handicap @ 11/10
  • Louis Bielle-Biarrey first tryscorer @ 5/1

Team news

France make two changes from the side that started the win over Ireland, with scrum-half Maxime Lucu replacing injured superstar Antoine Dupont, while veteran Gael Fickou comes in to replace Pierre-Louis Barrassi at outside centre.

As for Scotland, head coach Gregor Townsend has also made two changes from the side that beat Wales at Murrayfield last Saturday.

Glasgow second-row Gregor Brown replaces the experienced Jonny Gray, while fellow Warrior Matt Fagerson comes into the back-row to replace Jack Dempsey.

Match odds

France are the heavy favourites at 1/11 to claim the victory on Saturday, while Scotland are 7/1 to stun the hosts in Paris.

A draw on the night is available at 25/1, while France to win by between 1-12 points inclusive is currently 13/5.

Scotland +15 handicap @ 11/10

France should run out winners on Saturday to claim the Six Nations title, however, the loss of world-class scrum-half Dupont to a serious knee injury sustained against Ireland is a big blow for the hosts.

He is the general who sets the tempo for France and his absence will affect the way they go about the game against Scotland.

The Scots will find it hard to cope with the power in the French ranks, but they have the strike runners in the backline to score from anywhere.

With the likes of Huw Jones, Duhan van der Merwe, Darcy Graham and Blair Kinghorn capable of going from distance, Scotland can put some points on the board on Saturday.

It’s unlikely to be enough to see the Scots pull off a major upset, but the visitors with a +15 handicap catches the eye in this one.

Louis Bielle-Biarrey first tryscorer @ 5/1

Scoring a remarkable seven tries for France in this Six Nations already, there would be little surprise seeing Louis Bielle-Biarrey adding to his collection on Saturday.

The Bordeaux try machine has made a habit of getting involved in the game early and appeals at 5/1 to bag the opening try of the game at the Stade de France.

Bielle-Biarrey crossed the line first in the games against both England and Ireland and he’s great value to repeat the trick against the Scots.
