Sale vs Toulon Prediction: Toulon can take a bite out of Sharks

Sale have gone with Bevan Rodd, Luke Cowan-Dickie and Asher Opoku-Fordjour, with JL du Preez and Jonny Hill in the engine room.

Winning eight of their last nine games in all competitions, Toulon are in great form heading into Sunday’s showdown at the Salford Community Stadium.
They have lost only to a strong Bordeaux Begles side on the road in that nine-game spell, Toulon showing they can do the business away as well as at the Stade Mayol.
Sale will be boosted by the return of England fly-half George Ford but Toulon have two experienced operators in White and Biggar in the half-backs, who can both get the visitors playing in the right areas of the field.
The Sharks are currently on a two-game losing streak after a 36-20 defeat at Gloucester and a 40-0 drubbing away to the Stormers.
Sale will be confident of bouncing back on their own patch in Greater Manchester but an in-form Toulon side are well priced to claim the win.

Having scored in a 33-21 win over Harlequins in the Champions Cup last time out, Fijian winger Wainiqolo is well priced in the anytime tryscorer market to go over for Toulon again this weekend.
That tryscoring performance against English opposition will have given him some confidence, and Wainiqolo has the pace and power to cause Sale problems in the wide channels. He can add to his try tally for the season on Sunday.
