The Red Rose are arguably the form team of world rugby right now, with this month's victories over Australia, Fiji and most recently New Zealand extending their winning run in Test matches to 10 - their longest such sequence since putting together 18 wins between 2015 and 2017.
Argentina are also unbeaten this autumn, recording wins against Wales and Scotland - the latter a thrilling comeback success - and they will have revenge on their mind after losing twice to England on home soil over the summer.
Unsurprisingly given their recent form, England have been installed as the heavy 1/4 favourites to win this contest, with Argentina, who are eyeing a third-ever victory over their hosts in London, priced at 3/1 and the draw is 25/1.
All three of England’s Autumn Nations Series victories this year have been by greater than a 10-point margin and they are 20/21 to cover that deficit in the three-way handicap market, while Argentina are 10/11 to win with a 10-point start.
Team News
England have been forced into a late change ahead of this game, with Bath centre Max Ojomoh coming in to replace Fraser Dingwall, who had been originally included in the starting XV but who has now pulled out due to a side strain he sustained against the All Blacks.
Head coach Steve Borthwick had originally made six changes to his team with Elliot Daly, Ellis Genge, Luke Cowan-Dickie, Asher Opoku-Fordjour, Ben Spencer and Henry Slade all coming in, the latter will now form an all-new centre partnership with Ojomoh.
Argentina have made five changes from the victory over Scotland, with Thomas Gallo, Marcos Kremer, Tomas Albornoz, Bautista Delguy and Justo Piccardo all being named in Felipe Contepomi’s team.
England win by 1-12 points @ 15/8
All of England's victories this autumn have been by a minimum of 14 points, but their recent record against Argentina suggests this might be a tighter affair.
Two of the last three meetings between the teams have ended in England wins by single-digit margins, while Argentina showcased all their quality when they last faced the Red Rose in their own back yard, claiming a 30-29 victory at Allianz Stadium Twickenham in November 2022.
This is also a depleted England, with Dingwall joining the likes of Tom Roebuck and Ollie Lawrence on the treatment table - all three of those players were tryscorers against the All Blacks last weekend.
At the end of a successful year, this one could be more about result than performance for England, who may have to settle for their narrowest victory of the series.

Luke Cowan-Dickie anytime tryscorer @ 17/10
Cowan-Dickie is one of the England players that has been recalled for this game after being a replacement against New Zealand and he will form part of an all-new front row with Genge and Opoku-Fordjour.
The Sale Sharks hooker did start against Fiji, scoring the game's opening try, which followed on from him crossing the whitewash as a replacement in the win over Australia.
The experienced 32-year-old also scored two tries in the final Test of last year's Autumn Nations Series - a 59-14 thrashing of Japan - while he has previous against Argentina, crossing in a 39-10 pool stage win over the Pumas at the 2019 World Cup.
